Well, I'm sorry if I have only been a lurker lately, but there is no way to keep up with everyone's posts.
We are looking forward to this cruise to get away from all the craziness here at home.
I do have a quick question that I hope I'll be able to see the reply to.
Has anyone done the Castaway Cay's Stingray adventure? We do enjoy wildlife and thought this would be a nice thing to do. Any comments?

Also, Barbara & I would like to get in on the landyards.
I really appreciate all the hard work and planning you all are doing to make make this cruise special.

We have done the Stingray adventure and I thought it was worth it the rays do not have barb's, they are trained, you can feed them and then will have time to swim with them in their enclosure. :goodvibes

Thank you. After Steve Irwins death our kids were not at all keen about the stingray adventure.

I am sorry, I know this is off topic, but I can't help myself. :offtopic:

Princess Monkey -- I was shopping in the craft store today and found the cutest Disney Wedding stuff in the scrap booking aisle. I had a hard time not buying this stuff myself and I have been married 3 years! :lovestruc

Hello all!

Well it took a long time but I think I have now read all of the post on the old thread as well as this one! You guys sure like to post!;)

My brother, dizdadof2 (Ihad the name first and he copied me just for the record) listed us as going so, technically, I'm already on the list but I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Jen (Jennifer, Jenni, hey you, mom, I'll pretty much answer to any of them :thumbsup2) and DH is Steve. I'm trying to find a good picture to post of DH and I but all I seem to have is pictures of the kids. Funny how that works.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all before and during the cruise! :cool1:

Welcome dizmomof2! :cheer2:

Hi Ingrid!
From what I noticed on the last TA in 2007, the public discounts that came out were the category 12 room rates. They actually offered those to everybody this year quite a bit before they did it last time....maybe slow economy and slow sailing. From how things went before, that will be as cheap as they will go. In 2007, none of the other categories were discounted, just the release of the cat 12 rates.

I hope this helps, Disney always surprises me, so I never say never with them.

I thought they had offered kids cruise free and another offer that tips were included. Am I wrong?

~Ingrid

Please count us in for lanyards. We'd like the one with Donald.

FirstTimeCruiser - Suzy, Matt, Mason
FirstTimeCruiser (2) - Maria Elena, Manuel

Thanks!

Lynne,

My information on the EB Cruisers page on your website is correct. I'll let you know my room number when I know.

I would like the lanyard with the regular name tag (no Donald)
I am in FE
I am in SM

I am willing to help with the "contests" (i.e. best door, farthest traveled, etc)

I haven't booked my room for the night before the cruise yet. Yes I'm a procrastinator :rotfl2:

So I don't really know where I'll be staying (hope same as most of you), but I definately want to be part of any type of mini meet that night.

I know they offered pre paid tips if you booked the WB while onboard for the EB TA. Kids went as low as $99.

It was Madeira.

For Hertz I dont think they have codes but it is
8963 Astronaut Blvd HLE
Cape Canaveral, Florida,
United States
Phone: 321-783-7771
Hours of Operation: Mo-Fr 0730-1800, Sa-Su 0800-1600

I used zip code of 32920 to find it.

Thanks! Could you plz PM me the company info for Madeira? TIA

Awww, that is so sweet!! I love that you posted the pictures and everything.

The Cinderella ones are so elaborate and gorgeous! I wonder if I can find those in Chicago? I am not a scrapbooker, but it would be easy to create pages with those materials. Thanks for thinking of us!

Dr. Dave and I used Priceline to book Country Inn and Suites in Cape Canaveral using the Name Your Own Price form last week. It should work this week too, according to the main DIS Cruise Forum.

A bunch of us are staying there... We bid $50, although it also works with $49 bids. (Don't bid less than $49, because Priceline will reject the bid. :rolleyes1) With tax, it'll cost $62, which is the best price we found anywhere around Cape Canaveral for a quality hotel.

Good luck... PM if you need help!
