OK, I was a bit freaked out because it said 2 1/2 stars too... BUT Pricline only ranks them from 1- 3 stars so 2 1/2 is pretty good! Google "Country Inn Suites Cape Canaveral Reviews" -- they are all excellent-- common theme is "clean".

I heard they have rats! Worse then an airport hotel!

Dee, is it ok that if you want to give less than the entire amount of staterooms that we can combine you with someone else that wants to do a smaller amount too?
I think we had reached a resolution to the FE and most want to do an all or nothing thing, but we can make a group for those that want to combine and do less. It will come in handy for those that worried about the group getting bigger and bigger.

I am fine either way. I was just throwing out an idea in case things got too complicated. As I said, I haven't caught up yet on everything I missed in the time I was gone...

I would like to join the FE exchange as well. Now I just have to make one! I have great creative ideas, just my hands don't seem to want to make what my brain envisions. I was checking back and I think that everyone agreed that the cut off date was Feb 1st so I'm not too late. Let me know if I am.

As for my favourite character, that's a tough one. So many to chose from but I'd have to narrow it down to Minnie and Tinkerbell. (I love the strong females! ) Dh would pick Phineas (from Phineas and Ferb) or Stitch. (he's more into smart troublemakers!)

Just don't let the good price get away. There's one less available room now; I got the $62 deal, too.

Changed SW flights from Sat to Friday - now they are having a Spring Break sale, so our tickets went down $19 pp.

Now I just need a good one-way car rate and I'm set.

I have a 1-way car from MCO rented through Hertz because they have a drop off location right next door to Country Inn & Suites... it is around $60... BUT talking w/ DH, we decided to book Florida Town Car service-- It is $100 for the one way trip from MCO to the hotel... if you figure in gas, tolls and time it is going to take you to pick up the car at the airport (shuttle, etc.) It will be way more convenient to have a man standing there with a sign with our last name on it! Florida Town Car's phone # is (407) 277-5466. I have used them TONS of times over the past 10 years-- very reliable. I hate "Magical Express" so we usually book them to take us to & from WDW.

Most of mine are dogs & supporting characters. Dug from Up, Pluto, Slinky dog, Bullseye, Sebastian, Lumiere, the fairies from Sleeping Beauty...also love the mice from Cinderella...So hard to choose!

Chip and Dale all the way!! I've been planning my two days on the Hop on bus in Barcelona. Too much to see, but I will manage somehow! Would like to get a Barcelona Card, the discounts really add up, but I can only see where you get it with public transportation. Since I've already used the Hop on, I feel more comfortable with it.

Priceline question. Priceline isn't one of those discount hotel sites where you book a specific hotel, but they are free to move you to a comparable hotel in the same area is it? I heard a nightmare about a woman having that done to her and the comparable hotel was CRAP! I just don't remember what website she used.

You can't specify what hotel you want. You have to only select cape canaveral and only 2 1/2 stars. Then you bid $49 and you SHOULD be good to go. They could always assign you a different hotel but your chances are really high.

I got the Country Inn and Suites at the $49 rate! Thanks guys. I was a little nervous bidding on an unknown 2 1/2 star hotel. I'm glad I knew others got the right hotel. Now for the airfare, the car rental,the excursions... So many plans, so little time.

Just noticed today that CAT 12 prices have dropped...

Guests 1 & 2 are now $699 and Guests 3 & 4 are $499. I am not sure if you can re-shop these or not at this point but I wanted to pass it on just incase you can.

Just booked our air!

We're flying from Barcelona to London on April 24th.

Stop over in London for three days.

Then Air Berlin- London to JFK (through Dusseldorf) on the 28th.
Then on the same night, a cab from JFK- LaGuardia.
LaGuardia to Akron---and then home!

Phew!

We got a good deal though....less than 2k total for all four of us.
