Just so you know it might not be there. Ours is still not on the website. If you don't see it I recommend you call Disney and ask to speak to the air department. If they have it, they will email it to you. That's how we got ours. That's also what our travel companions had to do.

You know what's funny about you guys talking about airfare? When we orginally called to get the info to decide if we were going to book the cruise the cast member told us that we could ask to be put on a waitlist for flights when we decided to book. We we called back the next the cast member told us that Disney was not providing flights just transfers to the airport and we would have to book our flights on our own. Said he never heard of Disney offering flights home. :confused3

Oh well we booked ours seperately. Does anyone know if Guest Services will let us check in for our flights with them or do we have to pay to use the computers.

That's strange. I booked in October 2008 and they let me have flights. I did check the website like 6 or 8 months later though to see if I could add my siblings and it said there were no flights out the airport I wanted. I just figured with my first time going over there I didn't want to try to figure out how to get myself home so I let Disney do it.

I'm a little upset that my aunt and I won't be on the same flight from Barcelona back to the states because that's a long flight to be on by myself but I'll get over it. Maybe some DIS'ers will be on my same flight.

You should not be upset. You got what you got and that is it! Just Kidding!!!

I am sorry, I just could resist!!! It just seems to be going around.... :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

That really does stink that they have you on seperate flights. I wish it would have worked out different for you guys.

I use an insulin pen. Is there a drop off point/container on the ship for used needles?

thanks T

I think you can get one for your room but not 100% sure....well, that really didn't help you at all, huh?? :lmao:

LOL... I guess it could be worse... Imaging if the person in the airplane seat (or stateroom) next to yours or even a deck higher, paid $4,000 LESS than you did...

WE are on the 10:00 Delta flight to Atlanta, then on to Arizona after spending the day in Atlanta airport. Is this your flight? WE'd love to have you.

That is my flight  I'm glad there will be someone I "know" on the flight that makes me feel better. I go from Atlanta into Salt Lake and then on to Sacramento.

And then you have the stinking forums, where we discuss these things ... and thereby do know what happened to other people. That's why they won't let you talk about salary/wages at work.

This is entirely true.

Most cruisers don't get involved in forums though, so it doesn't come up as often. DCL has a disadvantage because of the popularity of the disboards and the relatively lower age of the cruisers (which means passengers are generally more internet savvy and more likely to find a forum like this). Although cruisecritic is also a popular site, it does not generate the same volume, and most of the people who get onboard the ship at Holland America or Princess Cruiseline have no idea what the other passengers have paid for their fares.

Hey, hey we got our room assignment with a slight upgrade 12 gty to 11 - room 6603!! Looks good from neighboring room reviews and close to elevators and laundry. DH would have liked to see more of an upgrade, but is okay with our room. Also, lots of neighbors to get to know!!

We would probably be interested in the room tag thing! It involves just moving a magnet to another's door, right?

Took off last weekend and missed a couple of days and had 40 some pages to catch up on. Wow!

I was wondering if we could get a roll call of those who are traveling solo, single, or without family members (i.e. husbands and kids). Just curious.

Kristi - traveling solo (yeah, stateroom ALL to myself)

Traveling with out DH but with DS pirate: & DD princess:

I'm flying back to the states from Barcelona with a 23 month old on my lap so we would be more than happy to keep you company, oh yea and my 5 year old that LOVES the airplane bathroom. :rotfl: You might want to make sure your on another flight:sad2:

You have all been so great, I learned so much. Every time I call my TA to tell her something or ask about the cruise she tells me she will check and call back. By the time she calls back I already have the answer from one of you.

A BIG THANK YOU!!!:cheer2:

Anyway all of us on Deck 2 will keep each other company at the bottom of the BOAT.

BOTTOM OF THE BOAT?? Those of you on deck two can visit me @ the bottom of the boat on deck one....or just knock three times on the gangway as you disembark. lol :wave2:

Steve,
Gavin has a Dell Mini 10 Netbook. I think it is great-- it is usually what I bring along with us when we travel! :thumbsup2

DH has an Acer notebook, which he LOVES. He bought it because he liked my dad's Acer notebook so much. Both DH and Dad will be bringing their Acers on the cruise. It works really well on the go! We've also used it to watch movies (picture quality is fine) and it does well to access the internet. They are excellent tools. I'll be bringing my big laptop along, because it has all of my work files on it.

Hehehe, it sounds like you'll have the same predicament I do. I'll have the baby on my lap and the four year old at my side, and DH will have already returned to the states by then. I do not anticipate it to be a fun flight!

Does anyone have an a phone number to contact someone at Dreams Unlimited? I book my reservation through Disney, but DU suggest I can transfer to them and get ship board credit. I don't want to start over and lose my assigned room, which is what my current TA made me do for the Med portion, and I ended up losing $300 in the OBC.
