3rd day free--Discover Card Deal (Need info ASAP)

My friend leaves for FL in a few hours, so I need a quick response. Can you get the Discover Card Deal (buy 2 day/2 park pass--get 3rd day free) at the gates? Also, is it true that unused days expire 30 days after you first use it? They wanted to use the other day(s) on their next trip. If so, what is a better discount: AAA or OrlandoMagic Card? Can they both be used at the gates? Thanks so much!!!

Yes can get at gate, also at concierge if you are at HR,
had to buy one for cousin who tagged along with us...

So, you can get the 3rd day free when you purchase a 2-day pass with your Discover card at the gate? That's great. The information that I was sent from Discover said that you had to buy it at a Universal Orlando resort.

Well just to avoid tradgedy I bought the first 5 from universal by mail, and the last from the concierge, but I
am fairly sure you can buy at the gate. I did not actually buy one at gate, but you could get one at HR if somehow you can't get at the gate. Besides a look at the HR is a good thing, its so pretty...
