3D Simulators and Eye Problems

Sing it, sister! I can't deal with those either. Also.... please do NOT ask me to pull the car up closer to the gas pump/other car/curb. Closer? I am close. Aren't.... I.....?o_O

That is so me! I had never realized those kinds of stairs terrified me because of my vision! Dang! I also sucked at gym. Hid in the woods during softball and wrote myself a note to get out of 4 on 4 basketball. I just cried nonstop for volleyball - I either ducked when the ball was nowhere near me or tried to hit it when it was far far away. No one ever wanted me on their team. Ever. Last picked 100% of the time - even my friends didn’t want me dragging them down. I didn’t know I didn’t have depth perception until after college when I got my eye surgery to correct my eye alignment

Yay other people with no depth perception! I also have a lazy eye. I generally just don’t “do” 3D stuff, or don’t expect much from it. I was shocked that I noticed the effects in TSMM. I get some motion sickness, so I’m not brave enough for Star Tours etc.

I also cannot parallel park, back in to spaces etc! Nor could I see Magic Eye books! When I help with vision screenings at school and they do the “pop out” images...the testers always look at me to help the kids and I can’t see them at all! Lol

This makes me feel hopeful, all! Thank you! He says he will go into the 3D attractions regardless of whether he can see the movie or not-- because there's still some practical effects in every film that he can focus on. 40 days for me!
