3am in MK a hit..and we made it til the end!

Im confused. Why was the park open until 3am? Is this for any hotel guest? Ill be there from 5/10-18. I would love to be at the parks at night. Its so romantic.

Uh..I'm over 50..and I did it LOL!

Ecurto, the park hours were til 12 am, and that night was extra hours for MK for people staying on site. Extra hours adds 3 hours to the regular closing time. For us, that brought it to 3 am. The last two hours was dead, it was so great.
Here is the hours calendar. Looks like MK closes at 9 on the 11th, which means for you, it will be open until 12:00.

Look on the list below, once you have the hours for your nights, and add three hours onto those hours, as shown below (for the evening extra magic hours)

We're a family of night owls (notice I'm up and posting now ) so this would be perfect for us. We're going in June/July so being able to go so late when the heat and sun would be less would be wonderful. We could sleep all day and party all night

It was during Presidents week that we did it! Park was open regularly til 12 am..and with the emh it was open to 3 am. Awesome.

I am going during Presidents Day week in 2006. That sounds like alot of fun I hope they stay open that late again.I am worried a little about crowds though. this will be my second trip-my first was during Spring Break. Do you think the crowds are worse than that?

I am so excited about this! While we are there we get a morning and and evening EMH. The regular park closing time is 10pm and since it said "up to 3 hrs" somewhere, I just assumed it would close at midnight. Oh yeah, we'll take a rest that day and rock on 'til 1am!

Oh, I wouldn't feel too bad for them. You'd be surprised at how many CMs are in the park every single night while you sleep. Magic doesn't just 'happen', you know...

I don't see the MK staying opening until midnight at all during the next couple months though.10 pm seems to be the latest but that still keeps ya in the park until 1am!

I don't quite get it, how can one stay so long in AK ? I thought they close at some time in the evening ?

Can you say jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have no evening EMH for MK during our trip and it's just me and the
DW, our DD is staying with the GP's that would've been awesome.
I am happy for you though.
