Your family can definitely go eat there. It's not a bar, bar. Maybe later at night there may be more adults though.

Maybe you seat yourself? We haven't been yet, but plan to this trip. We will just go sit down somewhere if someone ignores us!

You seat yourself now. There used to be a hostess but the last few times I went, there was no hostess and you can sit anywhere where there is open space.

The only bar that is 21 and up is Trader Sam's after 8 pm. Jellyrolls is 21 and up at all times and has a cover charge but it's a piano bar with dueling pianos rather than a typical bar.

We've seen families in Jock's lots of times. It is generally seat yourself and then a server will come to your table.

Totally family friendly. I can't remember ever having been seated by a host and have been there multiple times. Anyway, just feel free to wander in and seat yourself. We love it there!

I will say I had a very similar experience there a couple of months ago. There were working standing around at the bar, but no one wanted to come up and take my order. Someone finally did....this busy server, just running around and doing it all....but there were other servers not doing anything.

It was a little annoying sitting there for.....I would say it was a good 10 minutes before anyone greeted me.
