We, like you, had a small Christmas and my kids were not disappointed either. My hubby started to feel bad on Christmas Eve when everyone was posting up pictures on facebook of all of their kiddies' goodies massively piled under the tree. I just looked at him and said, their kids may be getting more stuff, but our kids are getting DISNEY. The full experience. Even though its still a while away, they know its coming. They are saving every penny they find under the couch and are so so excited. Don't feel bad at all. It will all pay off when you are standing in front of Cinderella's castle with them and see the looks on their faces. I've never been to WDW, but that daydream is what keeps me going. Glad you guys had a happy Christmas!!!

That's so nice to hear! It's so true that the Disney vacation is memories that will last instead of a gift that might last a few months and be forgotten!

I seriously get tears in my eyes just THINKING about that first morning waking up and going to the Magic Kingdom!

Kelly Ripa and Michael Buble had a good time with a caller from Regina earlier this month. Kelly just could not stop saying Regina she stated it was her favorite name for a town.

Thanks girl! That gives me a pretty good idea of what parks I want to do each day! I'm sure it will change once the official hours are released. I will probably end up subscribing to that site!





I have updated my 2nd post in this PTR with my tentative dates as of right now. So I can give myself a basic idea of which ADRs I want to make.

I'm still undecided on renting a car. Actually I hate buses crowds and rude people. If I go by the threads on the DIS I will HATE the buses. So if I do have a rental car that definately opens up the ability to get ADRs at resorts without the hours on the bus it could take to go from resort to park and park to another resort.

I'm enjoying the planning of this!!

If we rent a car I think the only days we wouldn't use it is our full days at MK. I think I've read its faster. Or even a taxi on the mornings we want to get there super early for rope drop.

Otherwise I'd use the car. Gotta get my moneys worth! lol

I grabbed these awesome lanyard pouches for me and the kids. We can put our KTTW cards, gift cards and IDs with my phone number in them!

They have really cute lanyards at the dollar store here that are DISNEY! I'm still undecided as to whether I'm getting any of the kids pins or not. Ava might like some but I don't know if she'll want to "trade" them or not.
