Congrats! I just read your post on the POR thread. You will love it at POR and a Royal room to boot. We stayed there on our trip and our only regret was we spent very little time at the resort.

I think we'll get a good amount of resort time since we're gonna be there for 12 days. We're gonna have 2 non park days plus on the DHS day (we're just doing morning) so we'll go back to the resort in the afternoon for some pool time if it's hot or for a nap if we're planning to go over to an Extra Magic evening hour at a park!

Congrats! POR is my favorite moderate, and I even like it better than a couple of the deluxes. The kidlets will love Ol' Man Island...grrrreat water slide, plus they can swim at POFQ, too!

Ok *give me strength* I am going to try and keep THIS change a surprise. I managed not to scream too much in excitement.

I'm gonna let them think we're still staying in a plain old room and won't they be surprised when we get into the Royal Room. Ava is gonna love it so much!!!

And yeah the pool looks so much cooler than the options at Pop.

Everytime I go, I see that shirt with Pooh and the real tiger and it says 'Tigger, is that you?' I always say I'm going to get it & never do. This time I will!

I have seen that shirt, too! It's way cute! You should definately get it! I'm sure I won't have any trouble finding something to get at WDW! hahaha

We are staying at POFQ but plan on using the pool at POR sometimes too. So I'll check it out for you!

So far I'm doing good on keeping this whole trip a secret from my girls. Yesterday the DW Trip Planning DVD came in the mail, so the kids were watching that and BEGGING to go. We keep telling them we'll go when they're teenagers!

Ha ha! I am just SOOOO excited. And I'm not the most patient person so I'm planning on a rental car for our trip. Excited about the boat to get to DTD! And it's very cool that we can use the amenities at both POR and POFQ!

It's going to be so hard! I can barely keep a secret (which again is why they know about the trip) so this is going to be hard! We have 323 days till our trip!!! It's going to be hard. So I am going to have to post here ALOT (like I don't already) whenever I feel the need to talk about the new rooms. Should I even tell them we switched from POP? I've shown them so many resorts because I can't make up my mind so they probably have no idea. I just have to keep them away from my Disney account because now the front page says we're staying at Port Orleans!

So I was on the Canadian planning board on the Dis and found out that the Bank Of Montreal actually has a US dollar credit card!!! That's very exciting. So I am going to open a US dollar bank account at the BMO to use to pay off my credit card payments.

Now I can use this card specifically for my Disney Store online purchases, the payments on the trip and then purchases while we are there!

I applied and was accepted!

It didn't say the credit limit though.... hmmmmm.....

Ok so I figured I would use this post to talk a little about me. I'm making friends here (which is so cool) and I've love for you to know me better.

I am 32. Just turned on November 2nd. I am in denial though and will tell you I am 29. Other than this year my last 2 cakes said "Happy 29th Birthday...again" and "Happy 29 AGAIN AGAIN!" lol

You already know I have three amazing kids. I was married to the guy who I had been with for 7 years. Should have NEVER got married to someone I knew for a fact wouldn't change but love is stupid and gives such a benefit of the doubt.

Anyways we're finally divorced. We seperated in Jan 2008 and divorce was only just finalized this July! Pretty much right at our 'anniversary' which I thought was pretty

My favorite thing in the entire world is music. Singing! I love all music (ok except for the screaming crap, jazz and opera) but my special love is for country music. I have attended alot of amazing country concerts over the years. My favorites had to be the Dixie Chicks concert and the Rascal Flatts. And NOW my favorite band in the world is Lady Antebellum and they just announced a Winnipeg date on their new tour that just started on Nov 11!!! They will be here in March. Tickets go on sale in December and you better believe I will be trying to get tickets to that one!!!

In 2008 CMT (Country Music Television) in Canada did a tv show called "CMT's Karaoke Star" and they came to Winnipeg! I went in and auditioned and out of more than 100 people I was picked to be in the top 10!

Unfortunately I lost my pvr'd copy (accidently deleted) and no one seems to have You Tubed the episode I can't show you anything.

But I do have the screen capture from the CMT website.

It was quite a fun experience and still people ask me about it around my city.

I agree about the country singers! I can only appreciate a singers music if they can duplicate it live. It's all well and good you can hit those notes in a controlled recording booth and with all the soundboard edits on your voice.....but man alot of them stink live. (AVRIL LAVINE! ICK!!!)

Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Reba....such amazing voices.

And ofcourse my Lady Antebellum!!!
