Since we're definately planning to spend some of our 2 days off visiting DTD (also the first day we arrive) the boat to DTD would be an added bonus!

Hmmm POR is getting back to the top of my list.

Don't forget that you can have your packages sent to the resort, so you don't have to carry them around all day! I LOVE this service; I always seem to need it!

Yeah I have seen that now. The only thing I don't like is that it says it can take like 2 days to show up at your resort. But then I read that you can just send them to the front of the park and pick them up as you leave. Have you heard of that?

OK these Royal Rooms at POR look so cool! And I think I'm definately going to rent a car. But we will use the boat to go to DTD. The car will be helpful for a quick trip to Walmart for snacks for the room and I need to buy 2 mini portable fans. lol We can't sleep without them.

That's what I orginally had booked. Then I hopped to CSR. And finally AKL. Those rooms do look pretty awesome though.

Yeah I have seen that now. The only thing I don't like is that it says it can take like 2 days to show up at your resort. But then I read that you can just send them to the front of the park and pick them up as you leave. Have you heard of that?

I know it says it can take two days to get to the resort, but the longest I've ever waited is 24 hours. I think it depends on what time you make the purchase (they must have a resort delivery schedule). It definitely wouldn't work for something the kidlets (or you) are going to want right away!

I've never used the park pick-up service, but it sounds cool. Since I'll be traveling with little kids for the first time in a long time, I could definitely take advantage of that little gem!

I'm going to wait atleast until December to make a decision. I should have my package paid up by then. SO....before I pay it all I will make the decision. I'm pretty sure I am going to move up to either POR (in the mansion buildings in a Royal Room) or .... some other moderate.

Just wanted to drop in and tell you how much I've enjoyed your reports.

I can appreciate your overwhelming enthusiasm for your upcoming trip as I am dealing with it myself everyday...although mine is a little different situation.

I began planning a WDW vacation for my wife and I in January of this year. A few weeks ago I paid off the entire trip, booked for Jan 20th through 27th 2012 (90 days...but who's counting).

If my wife has had one dream her entire life it has been to walk down main street of WDW and see Cinderella Castle in person, she is a life long Disney fan, for sure, and neither one of us have ever been there! But here's the kicker....she has no idea we're going.

I'm giving her this trip as a Christmas present. She wont find out until Christmas morning when she opens a box that will contain a pair of personalized Mickey ears and a Disney tee that says "I am going to the Walt Disney World Resort"!

Needless to say I am going to film it and post the link on the boards. The worst thing about it is I cant say a word. I've been keeping this a secret for almost a year now and everyday I fight the urge to tell her. So that is why posts like yours are so great, I get to experience and join in on all the Disney excitment that posts like yours and others offer in secret. Disboards is probably the only thing that has enabled me to keep my secret....

Braden played 2 hockey games today!!! In the first he scored his first ever goal! He was so excited.

This is him (pretty darn tired) after the second game. He was ready to change out of that hot equipment and go get some supper. We ordered chinese! Mmmmmmmm!

Love the hockey pics! I am a huge Stars fan and wish we lived in an area where my oldest could play...but not much luck in my part of Oklahoma.

Hockey is a part of life here in Canada. lol I'm so excited to be a hockey mom!!!!! These were his 2nd and third games he has played ever! My mom and dad came out for the 2nd game.

What a great photo! A professional photographer told me that the difference between a good photo and a great one is the photographer's "eye." You definitely have the eye!

Just a heads up (as your in Manitoba)...

Don't know if you've given it any thought but I found a great bag to take into the parks. I found a Swiss Army Sling Camera Bag at costco on Regent in Wpg. it was only $35.00. I read that your a photog. and this bag holds all your gear perfectly, its small, it has one cross body strap which you can switch from L. to R. I would just be using it for water bottles and extra sweater/hat but what ev's...just thought I'd let you know.
