$39 Rebate at OKW

My MIL just got back from OKW (we gave her 5 nights in a studio) and while checking out, she received a $39 credit. The CM at the front desk had no idea why and had never seen it before. Any ideas why this happened? TIA.

Did they have any issues with checkin or the front desk early on? If so, they may have been given a dining credit without their knowledge.

They didn't get the building they requested, but that's all I can think of. I'll ask my MIL in the morning if there were any issues. Thanks, Dean.

No, she didn't use her room card to charge anything.

I saw the checkout statement today and it said:

$39 Front Desk Credit

That seems odd. Well I guess if they want to give it back to you, great.

Maybe they applied a credit to the wrong room number by mistake.

Could it have been that they did not get the trash and towel service they were supposed to get on the fourth day, and a credit was placed on their account to compensate them for the "cost" of that unreceived service? Someone who was not a DVC member might not have even thought about it, especially with a stay that is only one night longer than the trash and towel day.
