On our way south on 75 (yay!! WDW for Spring Break) and I just have to ask - what kind of Disney tickets can the "Florida Welcome Station" sell for $39? Every time I see those billboards I wonder what kind of disappointment someone will have if they buy them....

Depends.

Always read the disclaimers.

We've never been tempted to stop since we've known that price was unrealistic. I hope the disclaimers are posted in the store - they're not on the billboards!

10-day tickets
Note the disclaimers:
*starting at
**per day
Exactly and one reason why I don't mind Disney raising the price of a 1-day ticket (helps keep the locals out). Disney tickets are actually pretty cheap as long as you stay a while.

Really? You don't think the locals have bought the Annual Pass, which can take their average daily cost down to $2.47 per day if they only use it 200 times in a year?

Most locals buy Annual Passes, not one day tickets. So it's not going to make less locals come in.
