$380.00 Per Night at Poly LVC-Good?

380.00 pre tax for the 1st week of December. Postcard rate. Is this good or do you think I can do better. I don't want to keep hounding these boards if this will be as good as it gets!

Rack rate for LVC in value is $470 so your price is about 17% off. I used the postcard for garden view and the price is about 30% off. Whether or not $390 is good is dependent upon if you think it is, lol.

Perhaps tikiman will answer. He stays there frequently and would know if that is higher or lower than 'good' rates. He also has a Poly message board at his site where this could be answered but I don't recall for certain. His site: http://tikiman2001.homestead.com/index.html

We went the second week of December last year and got an incredible rate with an AP of $298 per night plus tax. I looked into it for our trip this Sept. and with an postcard rate or the AP rate it was $380 plus tax. We decided to save money and try WL and AKL this trip. Poly LVC is absolutely AWESOME and $380 is a lot less than you would get during anything other than value season. If you can afford it. Go for it!!

Code rate during "regular" season on a GVC at Polynesian was close to that amount $373.57 (tax included). Typically, LV is $100 more per night than the GVC in regular season (almost $600 p/n) . With tax you will be paying around $425 or so p/n which is less than the rack rate for GV in regular season ($490 tax inclusive). . .sounds about right to me.

The only way you may do better is with an AP rate IF they are released AND available for your vacation dates. Our regular season code rate was right around 24% off ($373.56) and the AP (which BTW, wasn't available for our dates) was about 24% ($364).

If LV is all that important to you, it sounds as if you're getting nearly as good a rate as you can get at this time of year. APs will most likely be a tad better though IF available.
