The parks don't stay open later until June 21st but I'm not sure if it starts in July or not...same with the fireworks.

Aren't the Cinespheres the huge round globes in the middle of the lagoon?

This is the one thing I don't get about Universal. I've been to both parks about a bajillion times and still have yet to see this show. From what I understand they spent quite a bit of money developing this nightly spectacular...so why not actually run the show? Seriously, two months out of the year? That's ridiculous.

That being said I've heard great things about it...when they actually do it.

I think it has to do with the park hours and making sure it's as dark as possible for the show. The show at HHN is awesome!

Right...those were the dates for spring break and the parks closed at 10pm those nights.

about a month ago and they said they were still finalizing the summer schedule. They just referred me to their website. We'll be in Orlando 6/12-6/22 and REALLY want to see the show. Hopefully enough people ask about it that they'll start it earlier this year. If their closing hours are based on the anticipated crowd levels maybe a lot of requests would make a difference...

I would recommend the opposite side of the lagoon from Amity...over near Mel's Diner. They show images on the sides of the buildings during the show.

I would love to see this also but we are going the 3rd week in August......it IS dark at 9:00 - I wish they would show it.
