.

My boys used Pre paid SIM cards from Telaway last year when they were working on a summer camp for 3 months, it was so good they are going to get the same package again this year.

The packages can be bought for 2 weeks or 2 months, with the ability to add additional time and come with unlimited 4g data allowance

Be aware that AT&T has discontinued its 2G frequencies earlier this year

Voice, Text and Data will only be using 3G frequencies.

Check that your phone can use the 850 and 1900 Mhz Frequencies in 3G, otherwise your AT&T sim will be useless. (Your phone may accept those frequencies in 2G but not 3G. 2G is discontinued by AT&T)

If your UK operator uses AT&T for roaming while in the US, it will also not work if your phone does not accept those frequencies in 3G

In the past I've bought US SIM cards for DH and me as we've been staying a couple of weeks so cost was worth it. This year I took my mil for 5 nights and bought 3 Feel at Home sims for us. I had no issues with slow connection. Park wifi has also improved. I live streamed a couple of things.

If you want to look into ore-purchasing US SIM cards I've used www.simcardguru.co.uk several times over the last 5 years with excellent service and support.
