The problem isn't that you can't post a link to a website (people do that all the time); the problem is that someone from this particular site must've done something here on DISboards to get the site banned.

Much like demerits, points are assessed to users who attempt to obfuscate what must not be said (like adding a space so the filter doesn't * something out). Collect enough points and you win a vacation from the DIS.
Geesh! I hope OP doesn't get "points" for that. How could he or she have known that it was forbidden to state the name of a particular company?! It seems pretty obvious that there was no intent to subvert the system.
