30th bday - Did I miss anything??

We will be at the world for my friend's 30th birthday next month (23 days till disney). I plan to let the front desk know at the resort. The day of her birthday we have late bfast ADR's at CM and I will let them know also. I would like to get her a birthday button, but we won't have time before bfast to go the park. Can I get one the day before? That evening she and her husband have ADR's for CR. Should I call the resturant and let them know?

Usually they only give the button out to the Birthday person on that day. But you can get one at any guest relations in the park. If you have a hotel reservation call and have them note it on the reservation. As for the restaurants, even if you have them note it you pretty much have to make them aware of it in person.

They will give the pin to any and everyone that asks for it, also MK and MGM have the same pin, AK, Epcot, and DTD have different pins.

They also have a different one at Downtown Disney. You do not have to get it on your actual birthday. I got the one from Downtown Disney the night before my birthday - to wear to Ohanas. I got the one from MK and Epcot on my birthday and the one from MGM the day after. We never made it to the AK my birthday week.

It was so much fun walking around WDW with my buttons. We got a few free deserts - the best was in Canada. A birthday call from Goofy in the gift shop in Canada, a balloon and card from Mickey and Minnie in our hotel room and some front of the line access at some rides.
