I've been renting out our extra DVC points since 2002 and have worked with lots of families on DisBoards and FB. Half payment will be due once we get your reservation into your MDE, and the other half 60d prior to your checkin. PayPal, Zelle, Venmo all accepted.
Split stays facilitated at VGF, which is a great combination, or AKV, if you're looking to hop around. We own at 7 WDW resorts so really love helping with split stays if that appeals to you.
