I didn't see this noted in any thread titles but if you click on the special offers room discounts section you will see they updated the room only discount. That is helping us out a bit since we had park passes and only wanted to buy 1 day passes to purchase dining. We were bummed that there was a 2 day requirement for free dining since it wouldn't save us that much. But 30% off is a bit better. Wife is calling now.

You are right. I just tried also. It seems they didn't update the booking part of the website. I haven't heard back from my wife yet but I'll post as soon as I do. I told her to call right away but she isn't usually as panicing as me so maybe she didn't call yet. Or maybe she's still arguing that we bought passes for 9 days and should get free dining.

Thanks the only reason we are booked at pop for free dining is we wanted the qsdp. I would rather stay at AKL and add the QSDP.
Thanks for the link. we don't need a ton of passes either. I added them to the fd prom because it was still a cheap deal. But I would like to just get a one day. So I can fianlly use all my passes up.

Has anyone had any luck with the online link? Not working for me.

Looks like they may still need to work the kinks out on this offer since the description says it's for stays through October 2 and then later for stays through August 14. The link seems to let you book up to August 18. I'm trying for a date in September and it's not working for that month.

I have been busting for a 40% off room rate (deluxe) as that would be much better for us than free dining. I was not going to knock back free dining if that was all that was offered but was really hoping for a %off and a 40% was the ultimate and there it is.

We are going for 22 nights, so 40% off deluxe resort is HUGE!

I hope we will be able to apply this to our current reservations. Fingers crossed.

Only problem it only goes to the 2nd so you won't get discount for full time

well for the split stay maybe do 40% off first part and free dining second. We check in the oct. 1, I thought the same thing and just spent 62 min on hold for them to tell me it would only apply up to the 2nd, not like free dining where it is check in date.

Oh well I'll just hang out and hope for an AP discount for the second ressie. We check in on the 29th for our second part so would only get 4 nights of that 14 night stay. We were only doing room only for the 2nd part, first part is package with tickets upgrading to an AP for room only on the 2nd part. It will all work out. Just so complicated with all of these different discounts with different conditions Very confusing for a poor Aussie traveller!

They haven't fixed the website booking for it yet. My wife just got off the phone and it turned out cheaper for us to do the FD. We had to upgrade our tix to 2 day. Still saved $453. I thought it would be much less than this. I messed up the math somewhere along the line.

They did give FD to our friend (we booked for her). But I am going to make her call and check because I think she would have been better off with the 30% as she has only 1 kid on dining and her, no husband going.

Just got through on the phone and there isn't anything available at AKL club level. I'm happy to have the free dining.

I currently have FD booked at Pop for 7 nights with upgrade to regular DDP for $1305 for 2 adults. According to my calculations, I can get Pop with 30% off room only rate + upgrade my GAD tickets for $791. That is a difference of $514. I am debating switching to the room only code and that way DH & I can decide what we want to eat and not be tied to the dining plan? We can choose how to spend that $514???
