30% off Values and Mods 8/15-10/2

So what would you do if you were me... :lmao:

We're staying 8 nights at YC starting 8/14. I currently have 8/14 as one reservation and 8/15 thru 8/22 as a second reservation because 8/15 has been the cut-off between discounts. So I have 8/14 at an AP rate ($204, I think) and then 8/15 - 8/22 at the AAA rate ($276ish?, I think). I don't really love having a split reservation. I had to move rooms last time I tried it at BC. I can now book the entire thing together at the GP rate.

I just booked online for 8/14 - 8/22 and got the GP rate. But that makes the first night to up from my AP rate and all the other nights go way down, LOL. But I know I won't have to change rooms at least. But what if an AP rate comes out for 8/15 on and it's not a continuation like this one was? But it's unlikely that an AP rate would be much more than this 40%, right?? Right??

LOL. So complicated.

I think I'm basically going to pay the $45 surcharge (essentially) to keep my trip as one reservation.

Free Dining (upgraded to Deluxe for 1/2 price) worked out much cheaper for me to do then the 30% off mods. A savings for us of almost $500.
If only I could ACTUALLY go this year and I wasn't just fantasy booking lol.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This is a better deal for us! Well we upgraded to the WL club level so maybe not a better price but we are excited with our resort!

Just got through on the phone and there isn't anything available at AKL club level. I'm happy to have the free dining. :)

GF club level was available for the deluxe room, but not the theme park view ( Which is what i had) i ended up changing from club level and took and outer building theme park view....with the change in rooms and discount i saved about $1,100...so it was definately worth being on the phone for an hour

also the GF main building is going to be going under refurbishment through september 30, so in order to enjoy a balcony and such i was better off switching to an outer biulding

Just heard from my wonderful TA and she has applied the 40% off to our 8 night AKL ressie and we have 4 nights out of our 14 night BC ressie with 40% off too :cool1: So Excited.

Just hoping for an AP rate for the other 10 nights at BC and then I will be doing cartwheels with excitement. :lmao:

Glad I posted this. I figured it would be old news and I'd get told it was posted a bunch of times. It was a bit hidden on the specials page because if you didn't click through you wouldn't see the date and percent adjustment.

I just figured out my friend's problem. He kid isn't on her reservation. Now she has to call back and wait 30 minutes to pay more. :( ;)

Hip Hip Hooray. All my code watching is done. Was looking for 40% off deluxe and we got it. We are so super excited. :cool1:

Can't wait for our 9/26 trip....

Thanks all!

Yippee! This is just what we were waiting for!
Now the tough part.....I had my heart set on staying at Coronado Springs, and the website says it's not available :sad2: We need the mod resort with the best possible pool, as all my son really wants to do it hang out at the pool all day! What now?

OK, just booked PO RS for 9/26 thru 10/1 at 30% off! WOOHOO!!! This will be our first trip....is it normal to be dancing around giddy with excitement?? :dance3: We will be there for both DS and DH's birthdays too! :yay:

Thanks for pointing out this other discount. I want to stay at Beach Club Villas and this will be a better discount then free dining for us.

You are right. I just tried also. It seems they didn't update the booking part of the website. I haven't heard back from my wife yet but I'll post as soon as I do. I told her to call right away but she isn't usually as panicing as me so maybe she didn't call yet. Or maybe she's still arguing that we bought passes for 9 days and should get free dining. :rotfl:

We are staying at the Polynesian for 7 nites beginning 9/11/10. I saw the 40% discount for deluxe resorts (most nites 8/15/10 thru 10/2/10 - code ID6) and called to change my reservations. It took some time because that code wasn't coming up but I persisted and finally got it changed. I cancelled my free dining option, paid for dining and still saved another $800!

I called this evening as soon as I saw this offer. I had been waiting because we got free dining with a pin in Feb. but ended up flying in a night early so I just needed a room for one night. So when I called I said I just need one night at a value since we were on a plan at Caribbean Beach the next night. So he started to plug the numbers for Pop and a box popped up giving me one night at All Star Sports for $49 plus tax so $55.60!!! I told him I would definitly take it! I am so excited, thank you so much for posting this code!

:rotfl:thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention. i got on the phone right away when i read this message. we are staying at pop sep 14-20 and they applied the discount to my existing ressie and it saved me 203.00. i am still so excited. we are taking my in laws for their first disney trip ever, now i am thinking of planning an extra adr with the extra cash. again THANK YOU:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Can't combine the free dining and the 30% off values discount. Free dining would save $30 per person per day so $180 per person for your 6 days. That is far more savings than the 30% off.

With the new discount coming out, we actually decided to down grade. We were booked at the Contemporary for our Sept 4-11 trip, but decided to change our resort to Pop Century. By doing this, for the same amount of money, we got a preferred room, park hopper tickets for two for 7 days, and money left over to cover most of our dining for the 7 days.

I am surprised the Free Dining would not be a better deal for you guys at the Value Resort?

Or are you just not going to end up eating that much?

Just curious. :flower3:

Just FYI - the first time I called the CM tried to tell me that the value resorts was only 15% off...So I had to call back and show them the website...

And I got 30% off!!!

I had already booked with a 20% PIN - but 10% more is 10% more!!! :)

I was thinking the same thing. Free dining always seems to be the best discount if staying at a value.

Thanks for posting this. We had booked our reservation using a 25% off pin code but I was able to switch it to the 30% code and saved about $43. Every little bit helps! :thumbsup2
