I read about a new offer from disneyland.com. You can order an AP and get $30 off online. There was some glitch in the system at first but it seems to be ok now. There is no residency requirement. The offer is found at disneyland.com/deluxeoffer. I already bought passes through Costco but this sounds like a good deal for those considering purchase of an AP.

I couldn't see any info on it either. :confused3 This would be a nice alternative for those of us not blessed to live in Southern California.

Is this an Eticket purchase or do they ship it to you? We are going next week so not enough time to have it sent, but if it were an Eticket that would work out:yay:

Yes, there is an E-ticket option.

Sure, wouldn't you know I just renewed our AP finally, last month. Oh, and my DM received an offer in the mail that if she renews her AP soon, she'll get a ticket good for a black out day. I guess I should have waited a little longer to renew. :confused3

Thanks for the link!

If I can't find a costco that sells them during my trip down south, I'll use this link instead. :)

yep looks like this is what we might be doing as well if we have no luck with getting from the Costco offer... Any savings is a great bonus!! Thanks for the info

If it makes you feel better, it isn't good for renewal, just for new purchases.

I *just* found someone to get my APs for me from Costco, or I would have done this (much easier than the way I'm getting the Costco ones)! It's not a $30 gift card, btw, it just takes $30 off the price of the Deluxe AP to make it $239.

I wonder if the fact that they are doing this and the Costco promotion is a reflection of a slower year this year because of the economy. It was my understanding that discounts on AP's just didn't happen.

When you buy a ticket online how long do you have to use it???? I'm not going till next oct.

It's a better deal than the $20 off for Disney Vacation Club Members too!

I've seen other discount promotions in the past for APs but yes, this is because of the economy. I'm getting coupons and offers for restaurants galore. I'd rather have the good economy...

Wouldn't a 3 month break be new? Expired in June, got new ones in Sept.

YOu could even get a new one the day after your old one expired.

The poster was replying to your words, though...you said you had renewed them (which would be a $20 or so discount), not bought new.

Sorry the timing was wrong for you!

I honestly don't know, though it does seem like it would be new! I am myself new to the whole AP thing and can only give my opinion. :goodvibes

My ? is what if I have a 6 day pass and want to turn it into a deluxe AP pass would I get the 30 bucks off ? Or is this only if you purchase online?
