**30 Day Shred Challenge**

Just ordered the DVD from amazon. I weigh a little over 160 now, but did get down to 142! Kicking myself for not keeping up with good eating habits!!! UGH! I would like to lose 30lbs.
 
Moved up to level 2 today. It was not an easy task but it was definitely easier than when I did level 1 for the first time... so at least I'm making progress. I still don't feel like I'm dropping the weight like I should so I'm going to try to eat better the next few days and see if it makes a difference.
 
I was exhausted after watching Biggest Loser and then the Good Wife, so I could not get out of bed this morning to work out before work, so I'll be doing day 4 this afternoon and then going to the gym. Yesterday at the gym I could barely even get a parking spot, never mind get a treadmill (which I did, but just barely)! I feel so much better when I'm able to work out. Keep up the good work everyone.

How many times did you do level one before you moved up? I'm on day 6 of level one, not sure if I'll be ready to move up to level 2 soon.
 

Day 6 here! Today was easy peasy lemon squeezey:yay: Jillian is right when she says days 5,6,7 and so on are so much easier than day one. I have an advantage because I have always worked out regularily so it doesn't take me long to get back into it after a month long break ( usually EVERY December!:santa:) but Jillian is still a really hard work out! I love it! I can't wait to be on day 30 and say I did it! 30 days in a row with no breaks! Then after that I am going to do 30 days of the Biggest Loser Cardio Max. I love that DVD!
 
I did day 4 today. Yesterday was easy with my 1lb weights so I went back to my 3lbs and it wasn't bad! I am getting used to it. I am not worried about finishing level 1, but I decided to watch level 2 and 3 for the heck of it. Yikes! I am determined though.

Of course, my vacation falls in the middle of level 2. I told DH we should bring it with us and do it on the computer. He just gave me "the look".

I've done it before and lost 50 pounds and kept it off for a long time. Training for the Princess 5k 3 nights a week and tonight or tomorrow I'll be starting 30 Day Shred since the DVD came today.

Finished Day 4. Still counting points and staying on track. I did use some of my 'extra' points and had a treat after dinner.

I like the idea of keeping track of the days by marking the box. I think it will be a motivator for me. I won't want to have a day I don't make a tally mark.

I'm happy to report that I've lost 10 pounds today since last Monday!!!! I didn't think I'd ever see 170's again... This morning I weighed in at 178.8. I've been doing the South Beach Diet... I've done it before and lost 50 pounds and kept it off for a long time. Training for the Princess 5k 3 nights a week and tonight or tomorrow I'll be starting 30 Day Shred since the DVD came today.
Congrats to everyone who had a loss this week!!!!

That's awesome! I've been slacking a bit, have to get in better habits. Down a lb, at least not up, but nothing to really get excited about.
 
I moved up to level 2 today!:cool1: It was very hard, but not as bad as day 1 was!

I have done the DVD everyday for the last 11 days!
I have had a minimum of 64 ounces of water everyday for the last 11 days!
I haven't had a regular pop in 10 days (before starting the shred I was drinking at least 32 ounces a day)!

I am amazed at how great I feel!
 
I will be restarting my diet today. Today will be day 7 of 30 day shred since I missed yesterday.


I did not due well yesterday. I never did get to the 30 day shred (I did walk on the YMCA track for 2 hours though.) I also had popcorn with chocolate drizzeled over it last night.

I feel so bad about it today. I know it is not the end. I can just pick back up today.

I think my problem yesterday is that I am coming down with a cold and have pms.

Of course, it also stresses me that dh announced we are putting the house on the market in Feb. I knew we were going to put the house on the market, but thought I had more time to get it ready.

letstalkboutdisney- I started 30 day shred on Jan 1. I took off Jan 2 to recover, then took off Jan 8-10 because I got a really nasty stomach virus. So if you only count my work out days I started level 2 on day 8 but if you count days since I started then I started on day 12.

PrincessSteph- that's awesome!!!

Did level 2 for the second time last night and I could do almost everything better but I still have to take breaks every now and then. Last night was the first time I've had anything to drink besides water and I only had some tea. So I'm feeling pretty good about it. I'm beginning to think that depo shot is keeping me from losing weight though. I can feel my body changing in my muscles but I don't feel like I'm dropping any weight. At least I'm getting healthier I guess. :cool1:
 
Finished day 5 of the Shred and day 13 of Wii workouts. The Shred does get easier by day 5. I was able to do all exercises (with the modifications for beginners :) )! Hopefully by day 10 or 12 I'll be ready to switch it up to level 2.

About the depo shot...it does cause a lot of women to not be able to lose weight and to actually gain weight. Is having an IUD placed an option for you? I know many women who have had them placed, and while it is uncomfortable having the procedure done, some provide BC for up to 5 years with hardly any s/e.
 
Since I have been feeling down I decided to weigh today. I lost 1.5lbs since Monday. Add the 1.5lbs with the 1lb from last week and I have lost a total of 2.5lbs so far. :)
 
Day 7 of the shred today. It does get much easier. I think I can move on to level 2 on day 11. I've been doing well counting points this week. I stopped doing the Wii workouts as much. We'll see how that effects things tomorrow on weigh-in day.
 
I am on day 10 today. I plan on working out in a few minutes. I will be moving on to level 2 tomorrow. I really noticed a change in my abs in the last few days. It seems that some of the pouch from having my DD7 is getting flatter. :cool1: My middle section has been a constant struggle for me so to see results in that trouble area is amazing!:love: I can't wait to be on day 30 and see what my results are!
 
Wow! I am down to 171.5lbs now. Total weight loss so far is 6.5lbs. I can't believe it. I am really starting to think I can get fit and healthy.

I was even a good girl when eating out on Saturday. In fact after I ordered my dh decided to change his order to something healthier. Then 1 out of 3 of my children did the same thing.
