The adults in our group want to go to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. My 7 yr old enjoys game shows so I think she will enjoy watching but I can't see my 3 yr old sitting still for this for more than about 30 seconds! I would like to go if I can but keeping her happy is a bigger priority-- should I try it and see if she will enjoy the music and lights, and if I do, can we leave if she gets bored?

Is it okay if she is getting in and out of her seat and talking  (she won't run around, but may "lap hop" to family members and sit on the floor)?

Can I let her have a snack (cereal or crackers) to keep her occupied while in the theatre?

If I decide to stay outside with her, is there something close by to keep her occupied while we wait over 30 minutes for everyone? We don't really want to go see another show, because we will be doing them all together as a family. I seem to recall there is a playground somewhere, but I don't know if it is close to Millionaire. Is there is a fountain, or shops, characters, or a restaurant or something that we can walk around and look at and she can run around a little?

The "Honey I shrunk the kids" play area is right down the street from WWTBAM so if you do decide not to go in you could go there and wait for your family.

My daughter was 4 1/2 when we went in Dec. She has a hard time sitting still but did fine. We didn't go in and sit until the last minute (husband saved seats while we went to the restroom) Every person in the audience gets to push buttons to answer questions and this kept her entertained. My 6 1/2 son loved this show and wants to go back on our trip in May. The show only lasts about 1/2 hour and the lights and music are cool. I would try and it she can't do it just leave and meet your family by the exit after the show. Good luck!

Our daughter first attended as a 3 yr old..and while she was active she was kept entertained with pushing the seat buttons on and off for a long period of time. And as long as she wasn't very loud there is enough back ground noise to have her not be heard...

Ooooo, she LOVES to push buttons (especially mine!:teeth: ) That would probably make her happy if she could just push the buttons, she will probably think that she is making the lights and music happen!

If you do try it and need to leave, it is easy to do so. My husband needed to leave with our 2 year old (diaper change) and there were CM's stationed at the tops of all the risers to show you out. You might want to try to sit near the top of a section and near the end of a row if possible.

my 4 yr old hates this attraction. we tried it twice and the first time she was barely manageable. the second time she screamed bloody murder and I had to take her out. you know your child best. it is not an option for me mine yet.

My daughter turns 4 in July and is VERY active, we were just there 2 weeks ago, and a yr ago in March when she wasnt quite 3. I was worried too about taking her in there. But actually, there are LOTS of kids her age who go in with parents, and 2nd, she enjoyed pressing the buttons the whole time. This yr, she pressed buttons, and turned around and talked quietly to a boy sitting behind her, who was her age, so it worked out well for us. She did keep getting out of her seat but she didnt go running or anything, shes just restless.

I have heard that two or three four year olds have made it to the hot seat by pushing the buttons randomly during the fastest finger portion. It is not hard for one to leave the show and the CMs are nice. I have seen several parents leave during the show.

My sister, 6yo at the time, didn't want to go in because she was afraid she would get bored. I had her bring her handheld Disney Yahtzee game and she was perfectly content through the game. She even wanted to go back again and again (with her game of course) to see if I could get in the Hot Seat after I scored on the Top 10 the first game.

I did take my 2 year old twice last Feb and April. She did push buttons lap hop and talk and eat( they did not like that much CM told me we couldn't) but no one minded the sippy cup. Pretzels on the floor was the issue  I did clean them up :D I would say go for it! Next time I bring a less messy and less odvious snack like mickey gummies. We had fun and I owuld take her again. you don't however get to be very fast fingers as you get help from the little one but I got to see everyone else do it !!

to everyone for you answers. I feel better about this now. I will definitely take her in and try it. I do want to watch the show, and my hubby is pretty smart so I would hate to be outside if he did get in the hot seat!:D
