I love seeing Seth's reaction to the characters. He seems to really love them. He is so grown up in the new pictures. I am also perfectly content to sit in the MK and do nothing. It is such a happy place.

Wow...Seth had GREAT reactions to the characters! The pictures turned out fantastic and he looks so excited to be meeting them!

Seth has grown and changed so much in those new pictures. It looks like he's losing some of that baby chub and turning into a toddler. So sweet looking! I love the family pictures with Mickey and Minnie and the progression of Seth being totally focused on Mickey to actually looking at the camera and posing for the picture. It's a keeper!

Just got the chance to scroll back through and look at things a little better. I missed the Aladdin's Carpets video earlier. That was so cute, and it's exactly what Disney World is all about. Grown-ups and children having fun together is what Walt wanted, right? Remember when Seth wasn't even here yet and you were dreaming about taking him to Disney World and sharing the magic with him? That video made me smile in a big way.

I have some random disney mom questions, maybe you can help me out...Did you have any fears of bringing your stroller with you? Did you have any problems leaving it anywhere? How old do kids need to be to ride things like Pirates?

I'll go ahead and answer these just in case I don't get around to responding to comments in general for awhile.

No, no fears. Someone told me to bring a lock if I brought my own stroller but we didn't even use it. We never even had anything come up missing from our stroller and we left a plush animal or two laying there a couple of times. Of course nothing is guaranteed not to be taken, but it just wasn't a concern for us. Be aware that the CMs may move it while you're in an attraction. We'd park it one place and then come out and it'd be in another, not far away or anything but just would have been moved to make more room for stroller parking.

We rode the following rides with Seth and there was no height requirement whatsoever. This isn't an all-inclusive list b/c we didn't ride everything we could have with him.

We had such good weather our entire trip - very lucky! And being at MK helps to make it perfect.

He's a little man now....no more baby! It makes me sad but it's also so much fun to watch him grow. He does new things every day now...so much fun! He loved both Minnie and Mickey...so glad!

Thanks! Seth loves that precious guy. Although instead of calling him Eli, he calls all dogs "oh oh" because Ray's mom's dog is named Zolo and that's how he says it. And he's there 3 days a week with "oh oh" so I guess he thinks all dogs are called oh-ohs. Every morning when we leave he says, "Bye, Oh-Oh!" to Eli and Sherman.

Glad it brought a smile to your face. I love that video - I love how he smiles and looks around and goes, "ohhhhhhhh". So cute! I can't wait to take him back next year when he'll be 2.5 and see what his reaction is then!

I was gonna do an update for you guys this afternoon but I realized when I was looking through the pictures I'd uploaded to photobucket that I think I'm missing a video I took on the Peoplemover that I don't want to leave out. So I'll try to get it done this weekend. Hope you all are doing well....have a great weekend!

So I thought I had video of Seth on the Peoplemover for this update, but I looked at the video today and it was taken later on that evening. So I was wrong! I do have a video to share, though, before we get to the actual update. This was taken earlier this week. Seth knows how to turn the radio in his room on and somehow he always gets it on the dance music station. He does this almost every night but this was the first time I actually got it on video. Watch the entire thing...it gets really funny!



Love that little silly man.

Okay, so back to Disney World.

After our break we returned to MK for the evening. Ahhhh.....(minus the crane)

The time was....

As we were getting to the end of Main Street the Move It Shake it parade came by. Seth was actually awake for this one!

(Can you tell how red his little eyes were? Something blooming in Florida in early October was not making his allergies very happy!)

Oh, on a side note, Seth said his first Disney character name last week - Buzz! Only he says, "Buueeeezzzz". And he calls Woody that, too.

Mickey and Minnie say hello near the castle....

So where did we head? Guess....

We grabbed fastpasses to Space Mountain and then since we hadn't rode Buzz yet, we headed that way. There was like a 2-minute wait and we were on our way to conquering the Evil Emporer Zurg....again. Seth sat in Ray's lap while I snapped pictures. I don't really try on this ride any more b/c I know I'm beyond all hope. I much prefer TSM where I try so hard that my arms are useless for about 2 hours after I ride it.

You should have seen his face on this ride. He was so amazed by all the lights (or lack thereof). He seemed to love it!

Near the end of the ride he grabbed the gun himself....

Here's our redneck picture. You can't even see even a piece of Seth's hair, but he really is sitting in Ray's lap!

Time to use our fastpasses to Space Mountain! SM holds a special place in my heart b/c it was my first big roller coaster ever. I remember very clearly being 7 years old and being SO nervous to ride it, but then so proud of myself afterwards and wanting to ride it again and again!

Ray went first while Seth and I had a snack outside. Me and one of my favorite rides.....

My turn! We didn't really even need a fastpass. No line!

This was the first time I had ridden it since they revamped it in 2009. I could definitely tell the changes they made in the lighting effects and in the sound effects. Other than that it was the same ole' Space Mountain. My redneck picture.....(the lady in the front....)

We headed back towards Fantasyland and just sort of meandered through the park in search of some dinner. I hope this area is open next time I'm there!

One of our favorites that Ray had forgotten to take a picture of earlier that morning...

The evil birds were out and about in Frontierland.

We didn't ride this this trip b/c Seth isn't tall enough and neither of us love it enough to make time for it ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I love the ride. But I'm not going to make time to get FPs or wait in line if Seth can't ride it too.

We decided on dinner at Pecos Bill's. I didn't realize this but Ray had never eaten there before. I had as a child and as an adult on one of the trips without him. He ordered our food while I got a seat and fed Seth his dinner. It wasn't too crowded in there like it always is. It was about 7:00 by this point so I guess most of the dinner crowd had already come and gone.

I got a taco salad and Ray got chili cheese fries. He loved his fries and my salad was good, too. Here's our food....

And my salad after my trip to the toppings bar....

It hit the spot!

Next update: A night time cruise in the jungle, fun on the Peoplemover and Seth's first time seeing Wishes!

That would be the Wabash Cannonball for me. While I don't remember after wanting to jump right back on again, I know I didn't hate it. I just remember my mom kissing me before I got on it like I was never going to come back again! HA!

We didn't ride this this trip b/c Seth isn't tall enough and neither of us love it enough to make time for it ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I love the ride. But I'm not going to make time to get FPs or wait in line if Seth can't ride it too.

I was forced on this ride by Makayla....we got stuck for a LONG time and both got SOAKED!!! I definitely could think of more to do with my time that day

YUM! I have eaten there several times. It's one of my favorite counter services. I need to remember this and get it next time!
