I am right over your shoulder there.

I am so glad I met you too.

I didn't even think to look! I knew you were by the pool when I left Anna, but I didn't think about you being in the background of the picture!
I did that too!!!!

How funny. I had to search for that one.
I am glad Disney has parking down, I saw the crowds and almost panicked.
Yeah, the only other picture they had of me was a VERY unflattering picture near the end of the race. So I definitely wasn't buying anything!
We did say he was going to be a sweaty mess!
I may borrow this for mine since I did not get one if it is OK.
No problem!
It was so crowded I finally saw an opening and I took it.
I hear ya! The crowd wasn't too bad but having to think about dodging people while I'm running was so new to me.
I saw that and thought 1 mile and we are not even in the park yet???
Seriously! I was glad I didn't try to take Seth after that part. He would've been bored. And then the part where we went WAYYYYYYYY back into the very boring backstage area.....he would have gotten antsy to get out of his stroller.
It was great meeting and riding with you. Did you ever get a chance to eat your "jelly beans" that Anna gave you for the race?
I did! I ate a few right when we got up to the front and then the others I ate right before the 2nd water stop. I don't know if they helped or not but they didn't hurt!
And it was nice to meet you too!
Congrats again Dawn on running the 5k, and in such good time!!
You definitely look like you had a great morning for running! But why, why on Earth would that man dress up like Batman?!?
Thanks! It was an excellent morning for a run! No clue on Batman. Don't get me wrong....nothing at all against the dark one. But the rubber suit in a race seems like a bad idea.
I'm not seeing the pics, just the bandwidth exceeded box
Who knows? It's back now. I think photobucket was messed up for a few hours Friday night.
I was able to see them from work at 6:15.
Don't you love the internet???
Yup! Pics are there

Looks like such a fun event - congrats to you for doing this Dawn, and for exceeding your goal!
Seth looks so cute in those pics - he was so sweet to nap so you could get a little rest!
Thanks! I enjoyed it.
I like this one for the cute little guy in his jammies and for the palm trees and the way the sun is beginning to show its presence in the background. I can definitely have the sense of sitting by the pool watching a Disney morning begin in this picture.
I loved this picture when I saw it, too.
Sorry Dawn, I signed off after I commented...I saw the pics last night at about 9:30 and they're still there this morning!
Weird - I think photobucket was down for a little while on Friday night.
Way to go on your 5K! I would like to do that someday. I 5K seems doable, I don't think there is any way I could finish 1/2 marathon.
I'm glad Seth went down for his nap and you were able to get some rest after the race!
I don't see a half marathon in my near future either. 13 miles......

I think I could probably do a 10K down the road.
Pics are there now, Dawn! Congrats on running that 5K! So neat to see the sun coming up over Everest and all the characters! I don't know if I would have been able to move at all after that race!
Thanks! Surprisingly I was okay the entire day. We had an early night that night so it wasn't bad at all.
We have her first haircut scheduled our first day at MK in Feb. I'm so excited. But, I'm very honest and don't want any cuts before then. Her hair is getting out of control
Yes, I did see Jill's post. I plan on using them. I don't know why I have only used the MK one

Can't wait to read more of your trip report!!!!
I just got the wispies that grow over his ears cut. I didn't want any of the back cut on the off chance that he will have some curl back there. The guy I had was sooooooo good with Seth!
Great job on your 5K...I'd love to do that some day.
That's funny that Pat is over your shoulder in that picture of you by the pool. I didn't notice her until she pointed it out.
Good thinking wearing that very inspirational shirt!
And that's a really cute picture of Seth at the pool.
Thanks! I know....I didn't even think to look in the background of the picture!
Congrats!!!!! You did great. Now, you need to do the Peachtree Road Race. That's the only one I've done many years ago with my sister. She runs it every year.
I'd like to do the Peachtree someday. I think I could handle a 10K with some more training. I just don't know about running 6 miles in downtown Atlanta in the middle of July!!! It's called HOTlanta for a reason! Even at 7am! Anna ran it this year. She said it was really fun.
great job on your first 5k!! The enviroment was really cool
Thanks...it was!
Way to go! Your pics make me want to run one

I really wish you had a pic of Batman..I wonder how he finished!!?? Idiot.
You could totally do it! I know...I can't believe I didn't get a picture of him!
Great job on the 5K and meeting your goals. I love the pictures of Seth in his PJ's, he is such a cutie.
Thanks!
Hi Dawn!!!

I love this report..i have been slacking on the disboards lately...but I just had to subscribe to you!
Congrats on your 5K!!!! Way to go..and what a cool race...even I might want to run if there were characters involved!
Seth is adorable and so big now!
We are expecting our first little disney fan this coming April..so I am also experiencing a Disney break as well..we MIGHT take the little one next fall..but realistically it will probably be sometime in 2013....so i am definitely reading your report for tips and tricks on traveling with a little one..as well as for pure entertainment
Oh my goodness.....CONGRATS!!!!

I'm so super excited for you! The best tips I can give you off the top of my head - move at their pace, have lots of snacks on hand (depending on their age), make diaper and feeding kits to grab instead of having to rummage through a diaper bag/backpack for everything. In the diaper kits I had a diaper, a small package of wipes, a disposable changing table cover and a poopy diaper trash bag. In the feeding kits I had utensils, a disposable bib, those disposable table toppers that you stick to the table and his food. Helped a ton!
