Isn't this amazing!

A three-year-old boy revived by doctors after being clinically dead for more than 3 hours said he saw his great-grandmother in heaven, German daily newspaper Bild reported Thursday.

The boy, named only as Paul, was airlifted to hospital after falling into a lake at the end of his grandparents' garden in the town of Lychen, north of Berlin, and doctors were about to abandon resuscitation efforts.

But after 3 hours and 18 minutes, Paul's heart starting beating again.

"I have never experienced anything like it," one of the doctors, Lothar Schweigerer, told Bild.

"Normally when children have been underwater for several minutes, they don't make it.

Paul said to his parents: 'I was with Oma (granny) Emmi in heaven. She told me to go back really quickly.'"

it gives me the chills too...
A three year old can't be making that up!!

Pretty amazing! Previous posters-I have to agree that a 3yr old couldn't make that up!!!! I just hope it wouldn't give false hope to people...honestly, how often has that happened?

Not surprised by any of it. Many people with NDEs (near death experiences) report the same things. Heaven's real people, heaven's real. :goodvibes

Guess that's what makes this so amazing....

Stories like this prove to me that one should not be toe-tagged, prepped and buried quickly. I would not bury someone until they are dead for 48 hours!

I so agree! I've always felt like this but never voiced it before.

Seems like someone who was actually dead for 3 hours would have SEVERE brain damage from lack of oxygen to the brain. But I suppose it could be a miracle.

were they working on him for three hours?

What they said.

It's a nice story and all, but they performed CPR for 3 hours? REALLY? Is that even physically possible?

Three hours is an extremely long time to have no oxygen going to the brain. I would like to believe this story, and if it gives people hope that there is something out there, all the better, but it sounds fishy.
