We have three whole days (Monday - Wednesday) at AoA without tickets/dining plan at the beginning of our trip. It'll just be DD and me, DH is flying in Wed night and Thursday we move to POR where we have a package booked. DD really wanted to stay at AoA! :)

We plan to swim, take the drawing classes and watch the movies at night at our own resort but curious what other resort activities (AoA and elsewhere) are not to be missed. The only thing I have on my list right now is the Princess Promenade at GF (and then we plan to uber to Beaches & Cream, followed with a stroll on the boardwalk).

I think we might save the campfire at Fort Wilderness when DH is there.

Any other suggestions?

Pop over to the Wilderness Lodge or Poly and see the Electrical Water Pageant!

Poly might be easiest if you can get to the TTC and take a short walk over.

Make your way to POR and catch the boat to Disney Springs! During the weekdays it's nice, doesn't feel too crowded (at least to me), great places for snacks/meals.

Also you can watch fireworks from the MK resorts. Or illuminations from the Boardwalk area.

Agree with the above suggestion to visit ALK - lots for kids to do including activities where they can earn beads for each one they complete and then storytelling at dusk that my kids loved.

Boardwalk is fun, there are often a few performers out in the evening and a good view of illuminations from the bridge.

Mini golf at either of the courses, shopping and live music at Disney springs, we enjoy the roaming piano, the outdoor stage and the step dancers at Ragland road.

You didn't say how old your daughters is but one of the bakeries at the springs has cake decorating classes.

Again age dependent but maybe a tea at the Grand, or a character dinner at one of the resorts.

How about a waterpark day :)

I am sure no matter what you end up doing your mom and daughter time will be fantastic!

You could always just take a ride on the monorail for fun. Watch the FW from the poly beach, the torch lighting ceremony at Poly, not sure how old your DD is but AKL has a free restaurant tour thing (can’t think of the name). You could spend time touring the outside decorations at AoA and Pop (lots of great photo ops st AoA). There’s a thing at GF where Cinderella and Prince Charming descend the grand staircase and dance. And there’s lots to do at FW. Fishing, horseback riding, visiting the stables, etc. You can also rent a boat from any resort with water access.

Get on the first bus that comes. Ride to its destination. Board the next vehicle that comes along. Go there. Emoji joy.
