3 riders on........

TomorrowLand Speedway? We have a family of 5 and oldest DS isn't quite tall enough to drive one himself, so my question is would DW be able to go with DS 6 and DD 3 if I ride with DS 7? Or will we have to ride swap?


Any help is greatly appreciated.

I haven't been on this ride in a long time, but as I remember it, each of us had a parent go with us so that there were two in each car. But I'm not sure how the seats were set up. Sorry not to be more helpful.

They have bench seats, with one, long seatbelt that goes all the way across. You could easily fit one adult, one child, and a toddler. I don't know if the CMs will allow it, but logistically, it is definitely possible. If you want, I can email you a picture of myself and my 3 yo DS in a Speedway car. I have ridden this with my 6 yr old and my 2 yr old without a problem. The CM never made any comment and just made sure our seat belt was on tightly.

Two weeks ago CMs were not allowing small children to sit on the adult's lap (seemed to be saying it was for safety reasons and the way the lap belt fit). I saw at least 1/2 dozen people being told to sit their child on the seat. It appears there would be enough room for 2 very small children on the seat with the adult.

FYI -- be very careful getting out of the cars with small children -- my friend was just climbing out when a kid (with parent in the car, no less) bumped her car from behind. She fell back into the car and wrenched her neck. CMs ran up to assist her, but said NOTHING to the people behind her who caused this.

Last year a CM rode with our son b/c we had an odd number of riders who were of "driving age." He thought that was just great!

My wife takes my 5 y/o and 3 y/o on with her, and I go with my 6y/o. They fit in together just fine.
