1. Can you purchase your tickets for BB at guest services at your hotel (we're staying at WL)?

2. Is there a height or age restriction on the family raft ride?

3. Can your child wear arm floaties or do they have to wear the life vests BB provides?

Thanks!

Last year we bought our tickets at the All Stars where we were staying. Also , I believe there are some height restrictions on certain rides. Cause my 13 year old was a little short for one ride, if forget what its called , you kind on hold on to this pole and jump over water and then let go. And also i did not notice and floaties on little kids. You can check at the hotel though and they will let you know. This was the first time at BB and we had the BEST time ever. Have fun, we will be there in about just over 2 weeks. We are so excited. I know summer crowds will be ther e but im hoping that the FTP wont make it un-bearable.

I believe you can bring your own flotation device but it has to be something that fits securly on your little one, not arm floaties. My DD has worn her Swim 123 vest and never had a problem.

Based on my memory:
1) The hotels do have tickets available (we alway have a UPH but
there was a desk at POFQ selling the tickets).

2) Small children were permitted on teamboat springs so long as they were properly accompanied by an adult. (The zip line
into the pool is located in the ski patrol training area - it had a
max height of 56 (?) and the area was mainly for kids 12 and
under).

3) Only flotatation aids that are provded by the park can
be used on the attractions. They were very strict on the day
we were there.

hi -

Just wanted to mention that when I was at WL this past April, they said they would gladly sell me BB tickets, but if I wanted to apply the 10% per ticket discount that comes w/ AP - I had to buy tix AT BB!

Which is what I did - line was not long and we had a blast!!!

Enjoy!

Our daughter that was 2 went on with us. I think they had to be able to sit by themselves on the raft. I also remember that you weren't able to bring floaties and such but that they did sell some there (doesn't make sense to me).

If you are staying on WDW property it is best to buy tickets at your resort, the lines early on can be long. There is a great area for toddlers called Tikes Peak, also an area for older kids called Ski Patrol. Eat early(before 12 or after 2) otherwise the lines can be long. Floaties are allowed in the river(creek), but not in the wave pool. No infants allowed on family Raft, as long as they can sit up by themsevles it is O.K. It can really storm in the late afternoon so be prepared for that, all summer long. Enjoy

Thanks for the replies...one more question though. A few of you mentioned that as long as the child can sit by himself he can go on the family raft ride. But would you consider it too rough for a 2 1/2 year old? Do they have to be able to hang on themselves? Could they get thrown out? I figured my 5yo and 7yo will love it but really wasn't sure if it was something my 2yo could handle (and I don't want her to get hurt). Thanks!

We took our 2y/o DS on the raft ride. He loved it but was a bit surprised. We just kept an arm around him and he was fine.

BTW you can get life jackets for your children for free. All you have to do is leave an ID. I would recommend it for your youngest esp if you are going to do the wave pool and the lazy river.

You can put the little one between your legs if your not sure, we did that when our 10 yr old son was a little guy. ;)
