February 21, Part 2
I checked the standby time, it said 20 minutes, so I texted Diane to tell her I was going to ride it alone while she was on Test Track, and she said the line was longer for Test Track than it was when we went on it, so she might be a while anyway, so that worked out nicely!
I got in line for Soarin' alone, which was strange, but by that point, I was starting to not let it bother me! I just played around on my phone, trying to get the stupid Disney wi-fi to work, which would work for about 30 seconds before you had to sign into it again! You would think Disney could get decent wi-fi!
Once I got down to the ramp part of the line, I was about halfway down, and they were asking for a single rider, so I put my hand up, and they unhooked a chain for me and I cut SO many people! AND I got put in the front row, in the middle, my favorite place to ride Soarin'! The perks of being a single rider, you get to legally cut the entire line!
And Soarin' was amazing, as always! I absolutely love that ride, it's so perfect! I didn't even care that I was alone riding it, because I love it so much!
When I got out, I think I was texting Diane to tell her I was finished, and they were right there waiting! We were starving from not eating all morning, so we were going to grab some breakfast from Sunshine Seasons! Caitlin couldn't find anything she liked, so she just sat there while Diane and I ate. We both got the same thing, which was...
The strawberry shortcake, of course! We didn't want to get anything too heavy since we wanted to wait until the World Showcase opened so we could eat a quick service there!
When we finished eating, we still had a little time before we could use our Soarin' FP's, so we went on Living with the Land! I love that ride, it's so relaxing, but it seemed extra long that time, I don't know why! But, you will all be happy to know, that I finally noticed Blueberry Boy at the end! (No picture evidence, though!)
Finally, it was time for Soarin' again!
I don't think we got the front or middle that time, but it was still great! I'm not sure Diane and Caitlin are as impressed with Soarin' as I am, but at least they humored me and rode it!
Since it was a little after 11 when we got off Soarin', we decided it was time to head over to the World Showcase! Diane and I really wanted fish and chips, and if we wanted a table we wanted to be the first ones there!
On our walk over, we saw the Oz playground for the Flower and Garden Festival, which looked really cute!
It was nice that we got to see most of Epcot decorated for the Festival, even though it wasn't starting for another week or two, it looked beautiful!
Diane wanted to stop at the Refreshment place near Canada to get Caitlin chicken nuggets, since there was no way she would eat fish and chips, so we decided to split up, I'd go get the fish and chips and they would get the chicken nuggets. So I walked over to the UK, and I took a few pictures along the way of my beloved World Showcase!
A lot of the topiaries were already out, which was so cool, I really love the Flower and Garden Festival!
When I got to the Fish and Chip shop, I saw that it wasn't open until 11:30! Ugh!! There was one lady, waiting there like some stalker, and I didn't want to do that, so I wandered around a little and waited for Caitlin and Diane.
Sooo pretty!
Once Caitlin and Diane came back, we got a table so Caitlin could start eating, and Diane said when they were walking back, a bird swooped down and grabbed a chicken nugget right off Caitlin's plate! Isn't that so horrifying? Not only that that happened, but the thought of a bird eating a chicken nugget just grosses me out! Let that be a lesson to you guys-if you are walking around the World Showcase with food, cover it!
I decided to go wait in line, since it seemed like other people were hanging out by the fish and chips place. Finally it opened after what seemed like hours, and I got one order of fish and chips which Diane and I split. They were fantastic, I love the fish and chips there, especially the chips, they are SO good!
Once we finished eating, we were ready to explore the World Showcase!
Our first stop was France, where Diane wanted to check out the shops, since I guess she never gets to when she comes to Disney with her DH!
I wanted to look at the new bakery
so we walked in and it's huge! Then we looked around the little shop there, everything is so cute! Diane found this sugar and creamer set, which she wanted to buy, but never went back for!
I was actually thinking of getting them too, but I forgot to go back for them also!

I hope they still have them in December!
We were ready to leave France, and walked by Belle's meeting spot and noticed she was going to be out in a few minutes, and there was no line! I asked Caitlin to please meet her with me and she agreed, even though she didn't want to meet princesses! I was SO nervous, Belle was the first princess I was going to meet in Disney!
When Belle came out, we went right up to her, and she commented on how there was a picture of her on my shirt (I was wearing my Belle shirt that day, which you guys would have been able to see, if the picture with her wasn't horrible!) and then she talked to Caitlin about going on adventures and playing hide and seek with Chip, she was so sweet!
This is the only picture I'm going to show you, because the one where we actually looked at the camera is probably one of the worst pictures I've ever taken in my life!
But there's the photographic proof that I actually met a princess! And now that I've done it, I think I'll be able to do it with Brandon! Maybe I'm over my princess fear!

(Oh, I just realized you can kind of see my Belle shirt in that picture!)
We stopped in Morocco for a little while and looked around, it's one of my favorite pavilions, but I don't know if Diane and Caitlin really liked it. Caitlin wasn't too interested in the World Showcase, unfortunately, but I can't blame her, it's not really for kids!
We went to Japan and looked around the store there, which again, happens to be another favorite of mine!
Caitlin got a little fan there, and they wrote her name on it in Japanese, which I thought was so cute! I almost want to get one next time!
I think it was Italy where Diane and Caitlin signed up to do an Agent P mission! I think Italy is pretty, but I never spend much time there, although this Lady and the Tramp topiary is so cute!
Their Agent P mission was in Germany, so while they did that, I decided to get a pretzel!
Yum, I LOVE the pretzels in Germany! It was huge though, so whenever I'd run into Diane, I would give her some of it!
Up next...finishing up in Epcot, getting our room at BLT, and MK!
(I know it was a random place to stop, but I used 25 images and I don't have time to do another update! I will continue hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday!)
