3 Pirates and a princess Trip report day 8

We went to bed last night wishing for a miracle and for Cam to wake up out of pain. Well im sure someone sprinkled a whole lot of pixie dust on our villa that night as cam woke up with a big smile on his face and his eye was looking fab!!

We gave him his birthday presents and we had a huge sing song and finally after all the heartache yesterday I felt that we were going to have a fab day!!
The kids were not very happy that they were not allowed breakfast and we needed to get dressed and out we threw them all a breakfast bar and we were on our way to Ohanas.
As a family we are big stitch fans and I was so excited to see the kids faces when they realised stitch was going to be at breakfast.

I can honestly say Ohanas is fantastic it is very busy but I didnt seem to notice that while we were there. The waffles were to die for and we all left here truly stuffed!! Stitch was as fab as I hoped he would be the boys were squealing at delight when he robbed cams hat then threw it on floor and made dan pick it up !! As dan bent down he sat on his back we were howling. Keira looked worried as she watched Stitch tip ben back on his chair and then lick daddys hand!! He got to Keira and gently kissed her on the head and put her flowers back round her neck !! our waiter said Stitch has got a girlfriend and she laughed her head off while stitch hid behind his hands !!

After rolling out of Ohanas we headed to Magic Kingdom as soon as we got through the gates we knew this was a bad idea it was a saturday and it was heaving. Cameron really wanted to do the stitch ride so we headed over to that - when we got there Daniel looked green and was complaining his blly hurt so he sat with me in the shade while wayne took Ben and cam on the ride - they were gone for nearly 45 mins!! While they had gone daniel sat himself in Keiras pushchair and had fell asleep! As soon as the boys came out we decided that we would leave the mayhem of magic kingdom and go back to the villa.
Daniel had a nice long nap and then exclaimed he felt much better - what a shock perhaps the 10 waffles and syrup had been digested??
So back to Magic kingdom for fireworks and spectromagic we go!!
Wishes was fantastic as ever and the celebrate parade was amazing - I danced away in the street with my boys looking mortified at what their mom was doing.

The fireworks finished at 9pm and I decided that this would be a good time to go and meet the fairies with Keira - Bad decision !!
The sign outside said 30 mins so I thought wicked and promptly joined the que 20 minutes later we had not moved more than a metre
People kept pushing us forward even though there was no where for us to go and then a litttle girl further back in the que was sick - the mom just took her jacket off rolled it up in her hands and stood there the smell was killing me!! We then went through to the other bit where we were sprinkled with fairy dust and left to wait again. 45 mins later the cm came back and took a group of 3 into meet the faries Keira started to cry hysterically and I felt so sick it was unbelieveable so we left id had enough of the smell of sick and people bustling about!! I was amazed that groups of adults were taking 20 mins plus in with the fairies and the cms were not moving them on the cm proudly told me you can have as long as you like in with the fairies !!
I went home with 2 upset children keira was still crying that she had not seen Tinkerbell and Fawn and Cameron was crying that he thought we had died *** we had been gone for so long !! I was just tired and had had a fab day if you take away the fairies queue.

I hope you can do just that--take away the unfortunate, unpleasant, unsuccessful fairies queue from your memories. The rest of the day was the birthday you hoped for Cameron, wasn't it? Lovely pictures of the kids with the characters. Good old Stitch (or do I mean bad?!)

We did because the trip meant to much to us to get hung up on the bad !! Highs always out weigh the lows anyway !!

Whow i don't think even i could manage ten waffles & syrup in one sitting no wonder Daniel felt a bit poorly Glad he felt better after a snooze

I am glad you had a fantastic day though there were a couple of troughs. MK when it is busy can be just a nightmare, that fairy line was as bad as it comes. Poor you.

Breakfast with Stitch sounds great, I think this will be the only character meal we will do next trp. Glad Cameron's eye was a bit better for his birthday!

Sounds like Ohana's was fantastic and a great way to spend a birthday, especially as Cam's eye problem was sorted. Sorry to hear about the less than great end to the day though.

So happy that Cameron woke up much better,especially as it was his birthday .
Poor Daniel,glad he was better after a nap.
We also have o'hana booked as a suprise for Dd4,thanks for the piccy's it looks fantastic .
What a shame about the fairies queue,my girls want to meet Tinkerbell but i am dreading the queues when we go next week .x.

I read somewhere else that the faries talk to you as long as you like which I thought at the time was really strange, after reading your experience it does sound like a stupid policy which I am sure they will have to change eventually.

Sounds like a fun breakfast with Stitch, I can't decide whether to eat there or 1900 Park Fare this year though your TR is making me err towards Ohanas!
What a shame about the fairies.. as an adult I always try to make it quick with the characters so that others get a chance too but it seems some don't share this sentiment.
