I'm so excited too LaDonna!!! I think I am more excited than the kids... ok maybe not, Alex is pretty excited this time and he will now be tall enough for Big Thunder and Splash!!!! First family roller coaster ride woohoo!

Haha next trip you go on, I will tag along and take photos for you... I will sacrifice for the sake of good photography

Today was the day I was GOING to make rope drop!!!! We got out of bed at 6:45am (YAWN) got ready, had breakfast and were out the door by 7:50am.

And we MADE IT!

I think making rope drop was the best part of this trip for me! The show was ADORABLE and we got so much done in such a short time!

We went straight to Fantasyland and were lucky to bump into some ladies we had never met ...

My son was IN LOVE with them I think ... and this tended to be a theme for the rest of our day/character meets LOL My daughter was all dressed up as Aurora, and other people were taking her photo with the stepsisters... Sammie LOVED that of course!

We walked on to several rides...

Then of course we had to try and get that pesky sword ... no luck!

To the teacups! One of my favorites!!! We went on it twice ... once the boys alone/girls alone and once all together...

Alex felt a little woozy from spinning so fast LOL So his sister helped him out awww

We got off the ride to these two We jumped in line even though we had met Alice yesterday ... we wanted to meet White Rabbit!

Next we headed to Toon Town ... we had a mission to see the Princesses! And my son, once again, was smitten ... It was ADORABLE!!!

We then headed to the Barnstormer ride and took the train to Frontierland...

We grabbed BTMRR fastpasses and headed to Adventureland for some fun...

I think Jasmine was definitely Alex's favorite!!!

Sammie got some Aladdin love too!

Alex got a little souvenir hehe!

We also saw Enchanted Tiki Room (first time for us all!) Then headed back to use BTMRR FPs...

We ate lunch, though I have no idea where! It just says so in my notes LOL

Then headed to meet some other new characters (for us...) And boy was it HOT waiting for these guys!!!

Next we found a little piece of heaven ...

It was my first one ever and OH MY GOSH ... let me just say that it was not my last one of the day LOL SO yummy!!!

See, I did share ... a little... hehe

Then off to find Goofy and POTC ... on the way, the funniest thing happened. A CM working in one of the shops was pretending to be locked in between two doors and called out for Alex to help her. Ever the gentleman, he went and 'freed' her ... it was adorable. So we took a photo with her and then she escorted us straight to Goofy!

Goofy loved Alex's shirt of course..

Then onto...

We then went on Jungle Cruise (our first time!)... no photos for some reason...

We went to meet Tiana (first time) and it was AWESOME! Also saw Ariel and this was a first for us with her with legs...

We managed to get front row spots to the parade just on luck!

Sadly this is the only time we saw Snow White ...

We were now heading back to Toon Town and Fantasyland but we had some FPs for BTMRR so we gave them away ... always love making other people happy that way!!

We FPed Peter Pan, went on the Carousel again, went on Mickey's Philharmagic, Snow White, and then used our FPs on Peter Pan. Then to the little raceway ride ... I hated it! So bumpy! Must be my daughter's driving haha!

So now we are set to head out of MK for the last time this trip ... such a sad feeling ... we stopped for some castles photos...

and then we did run into a couple of nuts on the way though...

I think we had bought our souvenirs at the end of this day too ... it's not in my notes but I am pretty sure of it ...

I did try to enter, took about 30 minutes of my time and wrote a nice lil' story and then my computer froze up and I couldn't hit enter, so I said forget this lol

Did you go to Disney as a kid? I think that is why I am so into it, because we did NOT go as kids LOL Neither Dennis or I did! So we are trying to make up for that with our kids

So the next day was actually a rest/pool day and I honestly do not remember what we did! I have no photos, shock of all shock LOL My notes just say 'rest day/pool/nap/etc...'

September 17th was our last day and we went to Animal Kingdom ... I know we did make it to rope drop and it was cute! We went straight to the Safari (never had been on it so early in the morning and we were hoping to see lots of animals!)

So next we headed to the Conservation Station ... it was our first time and we enjoyed it!
Train ride...

My daughter got chosen to interact with one of the reptiles

Then we headed back and found some more characters

Donald would not take the photo while my husband was wearing his Mickey Mouse hat LOL He took it off him and threw it to me!

Ok so the rest of the day included:

Seeing Tough to Be a Bug

Posing with these guys...

Sammie conquering this thing! (She did not like it and informs me she will not be going on it again LOL)

Sammie also conquered Dinosaur (Alex was too short this trip... but should be able to ride next trip!!)

Of course a pose with the Tree of Life!

We also did the kiddie dinosaur ride (several times....)

We saw Lion King (Alex fell over and bonked his head and started crying JUST as the show started oops!)

We saw the Nemo show for the first time and LOOOOOVED IT!

I think that about sums it up Went back to the timeshare and the kiddos snacked...

And that is THE END! We had a GREAT time! It was definitely the first trip where everyone had an awesome time And now that this report is done I can focus on planning our next trip, which may be our 6th family trip to WDW but had a LOT of firsts! So when I get that PTR started I will link back here

I told my hubby next trip (not this one in July) we have to build in an Epcot day... the military tickets are only 4 day tickets and we need 2 days at MK still!

We hope to go again sometime in 2012 so my kiddos will be 8 and 5, so I think Epcot will be more of a hit with them at that age.
Honestly my DH and I went to Epcot once pre-kids and did not really enjoy it, but it was before I was on the DIS boards and really knew what Epcot offers! We will def. be checking it out in future trips!

We will be checking in to POP Late on 5 July and checking out 11 July!

My girls were 8 and 5 on our first trip - and since then, Epcot has really been their favorite. There really is a lot to do for your little ones (especially in future world) - but my girls really just want to eat around the world!

My daughter would probably love Epcot now, but my son ... ehh ... though this trip he would be tall enough for Soarin' and Test Track ... but I don't want to pay for a one day ticket for each of us, so we will just skip it until 2012

Will you be in the parks those overlap days? We will be in AK on the 6th and MK on the 7th ... the 8th we are having a non park day but two ADRS (1900 Park Fare for breakfast and Hoop De Doo for dinner!) It's our first time for HDDR so I am excited

Can you not add on to the military ticket or upgrade it in any way?

Believe it or not, I am not positive of our schedule yet. We are there for 2 weeks - and we are getting premium annual passes for part of our group (me and my girls) - and the rest (my DH, my mom and the girls are each bringing a friend) have 7day with wpm. With as freaky hot and crowded as it will be (considering we have only gone in off times) - I am not sure if we will have long park days - or just plan to get lots done before noon. All I know is that we are not planning on a park day July 4th

I'll have to get on that planning because I've always wanted a DIS meet!!
