3 Nights of food, San Diego before Panama Canal Wonder

We like to go where locals go. Prefer moderate. Don't want fancy and super expensive. Have 3 nights before a 14-night cruise. Need lunches and dinners and 1 breakfast on boarding day close to pier. Would like to see different neighborhoods. Prefer to be within say 20/30 minute drive at most. Have car for first two nights, staying at the Del Coronado. Anything right on Coronado you recommend? Last night we are at Wyndham Bayside, need a dinner and breakfast there, without transportation. Thank you!

when you are in the port area, just walk a few blocks east into Little Italy, close your eyes and walk into a restaurant. Don't think that you can go wrong in that area.
