3-NIGHT BAHAMIAN CRUISE May 13-16, 2010 (Ship Disney Wonder)

We are going on the Atlantis Aqua Adventure in Nassau. Our girls are really looking forward to it. We are leaving for Disney World this afternoon. I hope everyone has a safe trip to Florida...... See you on the ship!!!!! :goodvibes

Glad you are not one of those irritating people that put their towels down on chairs at 7:30 am yet are never seen actually sitting there all day.

JK. I see you guys are leaving in just a few days. Have a great trip to the World. Wish we could go there first for a few days, but we have US and SW passes this year.

That bugs me when people do that!! If I see no one has returned in hours, I remove the towel. Tough ***** said the kitty! :) Either use it or don't put it there

See ya there, we leave Saturday for Disney World.... No internet, so remember my face and say hi to me on the ship!

I am off, yesterday was my Friday. Now to finish packing, laundry, house cleaning so we can go!!!

I do have one question for those in the know, if there is rain or bad weather the day of our excursion, do they or can we, cancel or will they still charge us??

It would have to be really bad for them to cancel - lightning and/or serious heavy rain. Just a stray shower and they will still do the encounter. Did you book through Disney? If so and it is cancelled, you won't be charged. Most likely even if you booked direct with the company you still won't be charged, but you should check their policy to be sure.

About not knowing what to expect - just reading as much as you can on this board and especially the Navigators and FAQ, you'll do great.

Lborne, I stalked your photos today. I was looking at your DCL 2007 pics (haha our last "run in", I think!) and I'm curious how you got to that beach on Nassau. Did you have to pay for an excurison or just walk to a random beach?

We took a taxi and did the beach on our own. Here is the page from my TR on that day with more info on the beach and how we got there, etc.

Your MIL sounds like fun when she needs a picture taken...bwa ha haha haaaa ;)

Me thinks we'll stick on the ship. It's very rare to get my husband out onto a beach, so if it's just CC, I'll stick to that. But I *need* my sun and pool time!

And I just realized that we were also on both of the same cruises you were on (2006 and 2007). So strange.

Really? I knew you were on the 2006 one, but did not realize you were on the 2007 one. Thought you were a month before or after us. Hope to see you this trip, but I suspect you'll be spending lots of time near the adult pool and the spa. Hopefully we'll get to hang out by the adult pool a bit too, but you can never tell with our kids.

I may be by the family pool quite a bit. The food is over there.

Yes, I am kind of worried she is stalking me. :)

I think it has more to do with Florida Resident Rates.

Well, there is that. I wish they had better offers for out of state people. I went on a HAL cruise to Alaska in 2001, they offered FREE airfare from FL for the cruise, which was a huge savings. Too bad DCL fills the ships, because I would go more often if I didn't have to fly across the country. I will be able to drive to the Wonder when she is in Cali, but I have no desire to go on anything but 3 of the itineraries and I am already booked on 2 of them.

You know it! ::flips hair:: I like stalking people. ;)

Truthfully, I *think* lborne ran up to me at the 2006 cruise and said something to me and I was like uhhh okay hi. Hahahaha. Now I'm a lot more outgoing and chatty ;) I won't try and hide if someone says hi to me now. :)

Okay, I'll be honest here: we NEVER looked at FL rates through DCL before until this trip. I've always booked through Expedia and Travelocity thinking those were the cheapest...ummm nope! This was an almost spur of the moment trip (booked it 2 months out versus 9 months or more) and I saw the DCL rates and almost had a heart attack.

So we have stalkers on the ship eh? LOL Cool!!! LOL
