We woke up plenty early to hit MK even though it wasn't early entry or anything. We had to pack up everything b/c we were checking out and going to the Yacht Club today! I got showered and dressed and got the kids dressed and teeth brushed and all the luggage ready for pickup (thank goodness for Disney moving your luggage!) and we headed to the food court for some breakfast. I used my Disney Dining Experience letter to receive the 20% discount and realized I totally forgot to use it the day before!
We went out front to catch a bus to MK and there just happened to be one sitting there, waiting for us! We got to MK around 8:35 or so and got to see all the festivities that open the park, the singing and announcement, the train pulling up with all the characters, the countdown, etc. Pretty cool! I picked up DD and DH's annual passes, got a stroller for DS5 and off we went! We headed to Fantasyland and were going to do Dumbo (our ritual) and I could hear DS saying "no, no" from the stroller. I double-checked with him to make sure he knew what he was saying and for sure, he wanted to ride Peter Pan first! That was a first for us! We ALWAYS do Dumbo! I secretly wondered if it's even LEGAL to skip Dumbo, but no Disney police came after us, so I guess it is. I'd even taken my motion sickness pill in anticipation of it! Oh well. Peter Pan is one of my all time faves anyway, so I was happy. We then did the new and refurbed It's a Small World and I loved the new Disneyland-like facade (even if it's on the inside), then Philharmagic and Snow White, Pooh and the Carousel "the horses" as DS5 calls it.

Then we headed to Mickey's Toontown and DD9 rode Goofy's Go-Coaster by herself (DS5 could NOT be persuaded to ride it lol!)...then DD wanted to get her face painted. We did that, and I thought it would take 15 minutes or so, nope this lady was a professional and DD was done in about 2 minutes! The Wild River Eyes never looked so cute! That's something that DD has always wanted to do, and we just never seemed to have the time, or it had a huge line or whatever, but we did it this time and she was tickled to pieces! I also got several cute pics of her and her face paint!

We headed to Tomorrowland and rode Buzz and Astro Orbiter (my secret all time favorite!!!!). DH called my cell and was heading to the front gate! So we went and picked him up and the kids were so glad to see him (me too)! He'd had like a 5 hour drive that morning from GA to get there and he was a little tired. We went to Adventureland and I got a Dole Whip float (mmmmmmmmmmmm) and DD9 got a coke float. It was sorta time for lunch by this time, but we were so hot, I thought the ice cream wouldn't hurt
Then we all did Haunted Mansion, "The Ghost Ride" as DS5 calls it. Too cute! We got some lunch at Columbia Harbour House, which was a first for us. I got a tuna sandwich which really hit the spot since it was nice and cool and not a burger lol! Then we went back and rode the beloved people mover, TTA, and left the park. We had a dinner PS at 'Ohana and we needed to rest up from the early day and the HEAT! So we grabbed a bus to the Yacht Club and checked in. Next up: Dinner at 'Ohana and the Wishes Cruise!
