3 hrs. to play, what to do???

Getting in around 11am with 3 toddlers on a friday, husband flying in 5pm. Can't check-in at WL til 3pm. How is Downtown Disney, anything for little ones to do??

You can check-in as soon as you get there. Your room MAY be done- if it isn't - you can at least leave your luggage there and get all the paperwork done. If the room isn't ready - you will be given your room keys and a card with a number to call to check on your room status. As soon as your room is ready you can go straight there and call Bell Services for your luggage.

Once you check in - you can do whatever - explore the hotel, take a boat to the Contemporary and ride the monorail. DD is definitely "doable" as well.

You can check in when you arrive, your room may or may not be ready.

There is a playground on the beach at the WL....

I think they would like Downtown Disney BUT, I'd head straight to the WL if I were you. I've checked into ASM, CBR and AKL all by 9:30 AM and been given a room at check in. The websites may say 3PM check in, but checking in early isn't a problem.

If you decide to go to DTD, the lego store is fun, there is a huge play area for the kids. Depending on the weather the interactive fountains are a hit with the kids! Once upon a toy is a cool shop where they can make a Mr.Potato Head or a My Little pony. Goofys Candy shop is fun with design your own candies and goofys glaciers, a frozen slushie. Ghirardellis is always great for ice cream! Whatever you decide, Have fun!!

We got in about the same time when we went to WL. We checked in and then took the boat to CR and FW. My two little ones (4 and 1 1/2) both took naps on the boat, it was very relaxing after a morning of travel and by the time our room was ready, the kids were refreshed and ready for an evening of fun.
You're going to have a great time. We Loved the WL!
