That dog has a caste iron stomach , he has definately eaten chocolate before with NO ill effects !!!

Many years ago our mini-schnauzer found a wrapped box of chocolates hidden for me for Mother's Day. She somehow found them while we were out - we came home to find the box UNwrapped, and all the cherries spit out on the carpet...rest of the chocolate gone! Poor baby was roaming in circles looking very sick, We rushed her to the ER - she was in ICU for 3 days and hospital for a week. The caffeine in chocolate is deadly for dogs. Very scary!

For the past week I have been linking FE gift ideas and pm'ing them to Christine who told me how, she did not however say I could link my TR's into my siggie !! I figured that out myself ... see turning 66 has made me smarter , so now I am Sweet, Smart, little old lady !!( Marv is gonna have a ball with that)

I told Judy I am Happy to have a birthday every year , at my age it is VERY important !!! Thanks for all the wishes !!!

At ANY age Rosie! (the alternative to not having a birthday is one we do not want to think about, right?..)

I do like chocolate just not Chocolate cake and frosting!!Don't hate it just would always choose vanilla !!! But strawberries and chocolate are a match made in heaven!!!

Actually Judy bought cupcakes and 6 were yellow cake and 6 were chocolate , only 1 chocolate was eaten and that was by the dog!!! I kid you not he got up and grabbed one !!
Judy got me a new Bed in a Bag set Black and White which is already on my bed with Kyle's assistance , I also got another capri outfit from Judy and poor Steph bought me the same one ( I guess they know my taste ) so she is exchanging hers and I will get her gift and Sam's next Wednesday when we are all finally off together for my birthday supper !! I think I know what Samantha is getting me

Very nice birthday gifts!! and more birthday gifts and dinner next week... the party does go on and on!!

Christine, did I miss something somewhere? I thought the cruise was OUT for you? Are you now going again??? If so, I think that's wonderful news!

Ah, the cruise.....yes, it was on, then off, then back on again....sadly, it is back off this time for good. Since loads of folks with MS cruise everyday I had hopes that I could do the same, but a follow-up call from my neurologist (one of the best and unusually caring and kind ever to be found) convinced me it was best not to take the chance. I've had MS for 32 years and have done very well - so better to be wise and find another adventure. The good news is that Rosie is one of the kindest and most supportive friends a person could be blessed to know. I felt worse about canceling for Rosie and pray she finds another cruise mate soon!
