One thought ..... I'm all for renting points to save money but .... the first couple of weeks of December are very popular with DVC owners so we'd probably have to rent early in the year. Renting points means not changing resorts which is okay but it is also harder to cancel and get a refund. I think that we may not want to get our money tied up and be stuck .... too many things might happen between when we rent until the vacation.

I could start looking for a trailer with a porch for us again

I think I am leaning more to Poly and Boardwalk today , now which way I will tilt tomorrow is another story

I thought the same...although I am so determined to get there next year, I will walk if necessary and even go solo! BUT, a studio would really be tight for even 3 people, never mind more...even 3 in a studio for 5 ot 6 ngts could feel on top of one another.

There is plenty of time to budget for almost any resort - if deluxe it would be nice to be comfortable in the room (i.e. deluxe room BWI) or we always do 2 moderate rooms.

I did ask the TA about the Renunion dates for next year, but all she knows right now is that she is sure it is going to be days in the first 2 weeks of December - which is when it usually is...over the weekend between the 1st and 2nd wk of Dec. Nights can be added on either end. This yr it's the wknk after Thanksgiving because it falls so early. Anyway, we can keep a lookout for those discounts too.

Dear heart, that is NOT a porch - it is a balcony!! My goodness....the thought of commodes on the balcony would give my South Carolinian great great grandmother heat stoke for sure!! (my Mississippi born great grandmother would not be thrilled either!).
