Rosie, I've been thinking... scary, I know. Other than the resort, of course, I think since you are an OCD planner, it wouldn't be much fun to hand it over...so you should be in charge of the Grannie Trip!

What do the other "Grannies" think??

Also, guess we can think about a resort...shall we rent points to keep cost down (since we might need two rooms, maybe we could get BWV if we can plan far enough in advance.). Or hope for a nonexistent Disney discount?

Oh, we can also check out MFT's group discount for the "Reunion" (formerly known as Mousefest) next year.Some years MFT discounts are incredible and other years so-so...but if a better discount comes out they will apply it.

How about we make a Resoirt Wish list? Deluxe and moderate (no values this trip!!)

Mine would be...

Deluxe: BWI or Villas because during Dec it is the best location for EPCOT and the Studios. (my dream is that we would get a FABULOUS discount and stay in a deluxe room - 2 queens and a queen pull out sofa bed!)

Moderate: French Quarter or Riverside (equally)

We always loved CBR and it is sooo close to EPCOT & HS, but the last refurb was 2006 and it wasn't all that great. It is a beautiful resort - food court not great though.

Yes they do or at least they did I will have to check what the 2 letters I got say !! Judy did a quick conversion for me as it was all stated in pounds With her custom brokerage business she has easy access !!!

Congrats! Though it cracks me up that it really is called "Old Age Pension". But, every extra Disney dollar is awesome!

The Treehouses are at SSR. I've enjoyed staying there but what I miss is that there isn't a lobby so maybe for the holidays it wouldn't be the best choice? Also the switching buses can be a pain ....

Hey, every restaurant listed has food I can eat! "Ohana breakfast is great fun...GF Cafe as well. So many to choose from, we'll have no problem at all!

As for the eateries , I had you in mind for those you know !! CHH is my favorite , cs that is . Kona is my top breakfast to do list,I wanna try the Big Kahuana bo\ut I also want to tase Tonga Toast so maybe we could do some sharing. Also some of the T.S places would be appies and entree sharable right So let's here from all the GRANNIES OR "GONNA BE GRANNIES "

You want me to find photos of the resorts decorated for the holidays?? Geez! Okay..will do my best!

As your know CHH and FTBB are two of my faves...but don't forget the new Be Our Guest...it will have both TS and CS!

Probably will not hear from Janet for a while - she leaves tomorrow to take Samantha out to WI to visit her best friend (who moved a few weeks ago). Sam will stay for the week, but Janet will fly home Monday(on a plane).

One thought ..... I'm all for renting points to save money but .... the first couple of weeks of December are very popular with DVC owners so we'd probably have to rent early in the year. Renting points means not changing resorts which is okay but it is also harder to cancel and get a refund. I think that we may not want to get our money tied up and be stuck .... too many things might happen between when we rent until the vacation.
