I have been reading trip reports for months now and I LOVE laughing/crying/smiling along with everyone on their fantastic trips. We are FINALLY getting back to WDW and taking our two sons for their first trip.

Let's see... who are we.

the mama (that's me) - I am a stay at home mom and disney world addict. I secretly love the planning as much as the trips and dream about our next trip for years.

the daddy - Not so into Disney, but loves me enough to get excited about our trips. (He never went as a child, so that explains alot, right?)

the oldest - 3 year old who has been talking about Mickey's House for months. Loves Nemo and Cars, but does NOT like loud noises, the dark, anything scarey, fireworks, etc. Hmmm...

the baby - will be 14 months when we go. Doesn't really have a clue about anything, as far as I can tell ;-)

the nana - My mom. Along for the ride. Will probably do much of the cooking for us and baby entertaining.

the grandpa - My dad. Is giddy about seeing his grandkids in fantasy world for the first time (or the dumbo part, as he calls it)

sister 1 - 26 and crazy about Disney, just like me. Since she doesn't have kids or a mortgage, she has been able to go on a few more trips than I have. She is super duper awesome with the nephews and will be my planning partner in crime.

sister 2 - 21 and up for anything. Loves disney, but not the planning. She is the easy going sister and will happily go along with any plans that we make. (Her birthday is 2 days after we come home, booo!)

sister 3 - almost 18 LOVES Disney. Very high maintenance. She is going away to college this fall, so we will be excited to get to spend some time with her over her break.

OK, more soon!

Welcome to the DIS boards.
Where are you staying?

Let's see, where was I...

Oh yeah, I have the who and the when, now there where :-)

After MUCH and I mean MUCH deliberation and research, we decided to stay in an off-site house. We found a great one (I hope) in the Rolling Hills Estates. 6 bedrooms and a baby pool attached to a regular pool in the backyard. Plenty of room to spread out, which is a MUST in a big group!

Last time we went to Disney, we stayed at Pop and I loved it. It was so convenient and it was so much fun to never leave disney property, so I hope that we didn't make a bad decision. (I was also 2 months pregnant. Not pregnant enough to show and get any sympathy, but too pregnant to ride anything and pregant enough to feel awful all the time! But I digress...)
