WE HAVE BOOKED OUR 3 DAY CRUISE AND HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED 5020. CAN ANYONE WHO HAS STAYED IN THIS CABIN GIVE ME INFO. GOOD AND BAD!

THANKS.

Seems like you are a new poster, Welcome to the DISboards. Room 5020, is a secret porthole room. It has a porthole, but it has an obstructed view, thats why its classified as an inside cabin.

Use to be a cat. 8, but after complaints, they changed it to a cat. 10.

If you'd like to see what your secret porthole looks like, I have photos of your stateroom on my website at www.castawayclub.com
It's a great location...VERY convenient. And unlike 4 of the 6 secret porthole rooms, 5020 is not a connector.

It is a SPH room, but I don't think it has a "Steamer Trunk" for storage. Not a real issue if you have only 2 or 3 people, but if you have 4 in the room, might be tight. Also, in a room I sayed in without a trunk, it didn't appear there was room for one. DCL insists all of the rooms are the same size!

We have stayed in 5020 on the Magic and Wonder and have it booked again for August, 04. We absolutely love this room. The location is great and the porthole obstruction is very minimal. We have 2 adults and 2 kids and once we empty the suitcases and get everything where it should be we have never had a problem with space. Enjoy!!

I'm just curious...

thanks!
