When I booked our flight, I used rewards for my two daughters age 4 and 6 and purchased my ticket. We have 3 differnt confirmation numbers, so I will have to check us all in sepertaely, I believe???? I have always checked us all in together and recieved 3 numbers in order. The customer service rep said they had to be done individually. But now, when checking in I am quite sure our numbers will be all over the specturm. To be honest, I dislike line cutters and holding seats, but feel I have been penalized by using my rewards and will bring my children on with me, regardless of their numbers. I dont want to forfit my better numbers and risk sitting together yet dont want to cut either - what is the solution?

Drop back to the highest boarding pass # and everyone can board together. That's what we do when we have multiple confirmation #'s.

but by doing this I now risk not sitting next to my 4 and 6 year old children if there are no three seats together? We ALL have seperate Conf #'s we will most likely be a C by the time I am done

a little bit before T-24, open up a browser window for each confirmation number, and go ahead and enter each confirmation number and travelers' names.
then, at T-24, go through and click each one to check in.
You don't have to print immediately. Get the check in done, then worry about printing. That will get you all done in a matter of minutes and you won't get numbers that are too spread out.

Besides...if you have a 4 year old, you may be able to board before the B group anyway. Seems like when I flew last week, they considered family boarding as with children 4 and under. If you're the only adult flying with the two, they won't make you leave the 6 year old behind for this.

Thank You SO Much!! :goodvibes

I was thinking of trying to use our desktop and laptop, but that still put me one shy, I got so caught up in this, I didn think of that! This will definately put us MUCH closer together and put my mind at ease. :worship:

thanks again

In addition to the family boarding between the A and B groups, it is highly unlikely that you will get any numbers in the C group if you check in at the 24 hour mark. I've been forced by lack of Internet access (or forgetfulness) to check in hours late and never have been in the C group (and only rarely in the B group). Your specific airport may have issues--BWI or MDW come to mind in particular--so that's one caveat.

Another option you could do is sign everybody up for Early Bird Check-in, which will check you in automatically and assign boarding numbers 36 hours before your flight. That would cost $10 per person each way and doesn't guarantee you A passes, but I've used it twice now on busy travel days (12/23 and 1/2) and had A17-20 (to MCO from STL) and A18-21 (from MCO to STL).
