We've rented at Windsor Palms before and loved it. It's time to book again and we need a 3-bedroom condo. Before I booked one there, I was wondering if there were any other locations I should consider. We really don't need a pool home, though I'd consider one if the price was comparable. I know I can get a 3-bed condo at Windsor for about $89/nite so that would be my cost goal.

We used www.windsorhillsrent.com for our recent reservation and we're offered some great rates. We've also stayed in Windsor Palms and enjoyed it very much but we thought this time we would check into Windsor Hills.

We need a large pool home for this trip because we are traveling with family members. There were more extra large homes in Windsor Hills than Windsor Palms so I actually found better pricing and the homes are newer.

I have used vrbo in the past and casually glanced over the selection of homes in WH. After I used the WH rent site, I found some owners replied to me with better pricing than what was listed on vrbo. The home we chose offered us a 10% discount off of the published rate as a booking incentive. We didn't ask for it....the owner offered it to us in their reply.

Just be prepared for quite a few email responses to your request. It took me a while to go through all of them and make a final decision.

Good luck with your search.

Emerald Island has 3BR townhomes (no pools) that might come in close to that price too.

We just returned from Windsor Hills. We rented a 3 bdrm. condo and it was wonderful!!!!

We just got a 3BR at Hilton Grand Vacations Sea World for $650 for 7 nights in September! Can't wait.

Hi disneysteve, don't know if you are still looking, but we also have rented 3 bedroom condo's at Winsor Palms, and had a FANTASTIC time!!!!!! This year we are going again and have decided to rent a 3 bedroom condo at Windsor Hills. They are right down the street from each other, I think?? The reason we picked Windsor Hills is because I really like the fact that the condo's are newer. That was the reason I picked Windsor Palms 3 years ago. I really like knowing that my condo isn't 20 years old. (No offense to people with 20 year old condo's :teeth: ) Anyway....good luck!!

Does Windsor Hills have 3 Br townhouses with little pools? We rented one of those at Windsor Palms and loved it! Although we used the big pool, it was fun having a little one in the backyard.

Marriott's Grande Vista
Orange Lake
Summer Bay
Marriott's Imperial Palms
Silver Lake
Grand Beach
Fountains
Celebration World Resort
Fairfield Orlando at bonnet Creek
Calypos Cay
Disney's OKW
Disney's BWV (only if you are rich)
Disney's SSR

the easy one to get would probably be CWR through skyauction. but it would be last minute for the 3-bedroom.

Pat - which of those are the closest to Disney? I'm spoiled from staying at Orbit One and practically being in walking distance to property.

bonnet creek is inbetween Disney.

Next door (but not walking distance) to Disney's CBR. So you can probably see the Epcot fireworks.

Silver Lake is less than 1/4 miles from AK.

Cypress Pointe is around a mile from DD so around 4 miles to Epcot.

Utah, can I ask where you got that great rate?

Yes, Windsor Hills has pool townhomes as well. Check out the www.windsorhillsrent.com website to see some units. You can just browse without submitting a request for availability. You can also see some using www.vrbo.com.

Hi Gillian

We have rented 3br townhouse at WH for Christmas - can't wait. Good price & no Christmas supplement. Great!

I rented it from someone on eBay. I found quite a few good deals at various Marriotts in sept. those weeks too for 2BR villas.

We've often used www.villadirect.com to book pool homes but they also offer condos too. You can choose from Windsor Palms, Windsor Hills, Emerald Island and many others. They have a map of each neighborhood online so you know before you book the approx. location. Also each unit has many photos (slide show) and virtual tours. Each of the 3 times we rented from them the house was exactly as represented on their website. Good Luck! :thumbsup2
