Well since I couldn't find one in search I decided to start one!

Anyone joining our family on this one? Post here! Can't wait to get to know you and plan a meet up/ FE exchange!

Oh, travelling with me are DH, DD16 (at time of cruise), DD14, DS12 & DD9 This will be our 6th Disney Cruise and we are really excited about hte drydock improvements to the Magic!

There is one somewhere because I posted this morning and now I can't find it. I'm pretty new to this whole disboards thing anyway. But anyway, i'll be on this cruise, my second one. Took my grandaughter and one of my daughters on the Dream last May. Loved, loved, loved it. So I booked another! This time 8 of us! Husband, another daughter, son in law and 4 kids. Really looking forward to the new improvements on the Magic. My grandkids are 3 girls, 16, 14, and 10 and my grandson 3 /12. :woohoo:

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :beach:

Have a great cruise!

SILLYANDI: your children are very similar in ages to my grandchildren. my grandaughters are 16, 14 and 10. my grandson will be almost 4. I took my 10 year old grandaughter on the dream last year and she loved the kids club so i'm not concerned about her or my grandson. I'm just wondering how my 2 older (step) grandaughters will like it. one is very, very outgoing and the other one is a little shy. but if her sister is there she'll be ok. Thanks for your input.

We need to pick one thread or the other to post on, lol.

All 3 of my girls have always come to the DIS and met other kids their age before the cruise and got to know them. Our last group on the Fantasy had a facebook page for the teens and they all got to know each other quite well before we even boarded the ship. On embarkation day they all met up and they were off! The teen club on the Fantasy was incredible, but I know they also hung out at the pool, went to the movie theater together & played mini golf. My oldest still talks almost daily with friends from our last 2 cruises. We've even met up with some of them at Disneyland when they've visited out here!
We haven't been on the Magic since they were much younger, so it'll be interesting to see what the Teen club is like. I'm sure my daughters would love to "meet" your grandkids before the cruise, we can arrange a "meet" here and they can either start a teen thread (maybe use one of our already existing ones for them) or on FB.
My son never wants to meet before and just shows up on the cruise and makes friends (usually people I've met on the DIS's boys, lol). He is not very social but is never bored on the cruises, so I guess it works for him!

I'm on this cruise with dd and dgs age 12. We are also on the cruise before this one. We were booked for the Fantasy for this week but the "new Magic" won out. We like the Magic much better anyway than the Fantasy.
