2TS or Pay OOP

We have an ADR for California Grill and are at a loss as to what to do with our TS credits. Our first time on the DDP. Should we use the 2TS credits or do a Lunch and a Dinner on another day? I guess another option would be a breakfast/dinner one day. What do you think?

California Grill has a fillet for $41. Assume that you're going to order that. Will your breakfast entree and lunch entree cost more than $41?

There are a few entrees that are in the mid $30's and the rest are in the high $20's.

Here is what we are doing the last week in Sept. 21-28. We decided to pay OOP for the HDDR which includes the app., meal, desert, all the beer or wine you can drink, tip and a pretty good show. Well not quite OOP now we have enough on our rewards card to pay for HDDR (just ME and DW) DS20 in college and DS22 just out and now in the working world but we all were at WDW in June. We also have wnough to pay for Typhoon Lagoon or the tips remaining on the rewards card.
By doing HDDR with rewards we are adding Boma for breakfast and Coral Reef for dinner with the 2 saved TS each.

We spent 2TS at Narcoossee's last yr on the DP, our first time too. We did pay OOP for breakfast at Chef Mickey's, no big deal. Narcoossee's was well worth the 2TS and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

I totally agree on Narcoossee's! That's a very good value for either the Lobster or the Surf and Turf. I just would look at the menus before going anywhere else because of the value of the entrees at the other 2TS locations. Depending on what a person orders - they could be money ahead paying OOP at a Signature and experiencing two other Disney meals on the DDP.

I will add there is a chance you won't have to pay OOP to make up for the second TS. We had enough CS credits left that we could have had CS meals that day, but we wanted the character meal so we paid for it, well worth the $20. We shared some CS meals so we had a few left at the end, which we used on our final day to take meals on the road.
