We've been to WDW 3rd week of June 2003. It was hot and got crowded, but we found it manageable by taking the midday break.

While we prefer quieter cooler times (loved Novemeber) , our only available time this year would be the second week of July. I've read this is quite crowded. I was wondering if this will be much different from 3rd week of June? Thanks.

... in 2003. We were there the second and third week of July. Right after July 4th, there is a lull for a couple days -- all the holiday crowds depart -- and for a while, it's remarkably crowd-free. If you do early mornings (which is advisable, since it's not quite as hot) you can get a lot done without fighting the throngs.

But around the 7th or 8th of the month, it starts to pick up again, and starts getting mobbed. The good news, though, is that the parks tends to stay open later, so it's a good idea to plan your day around early mornings and/or late evenings.

I have been the 3rd week in June the past 3 years, and the 2nd week in July this year. The first couple of days after July 4th are fine....but by the beginning of the next week it is INSANE! It rained pretty much every day all 3 years i was there in June, so as far as the weather, July is a plus. It just depends how much you can take with the crowds.

July one of the most crowded months at Disney World. We'll be there from the 2nd week of July until the first week of August and we're planning on spending the mornings in the parks, the afternoons relaxing when the crowds and heat are at a peak, and then spending late nights in the parks. We did this on our summer trip in 1992, which was the end of August so it was slightly less crowded, but it was definitely manageable!
