We are currently booked at the VGF from Nov. 10-Nov.15. I have never been in November so I am curious as to what I should expect as far as:

Crowds ... I have been to the world the end of September/October. The 2nd week in December and the 1st week in March. Does the 2nd week in November compare to any of them?

Weather... As stated above, how would the weather compare to prior trips? My guess is in the 80's :confused3

And the big Question..Christmas Decorations...I have heard that only the Osborne lights and MK would be complete, though I looked at someones November trip report(2nd week) and the trees were up at HS and AK also.(I cannot confirm about the tree at Epcot because she never finished the TR. Also, the Garland around all the parks were hung.

Any Imput would be appreciated! Thanks :)

I am wondering the same thing, :confused3 I have never been to Disney in November only the 2nd week of June. I am also going the same time you are, November 10-15 staying at All Star Movies Resort! :woohoo:

We did the week after you this past November. We thought the crowds were actually higher than we remembered from this time in 2009 & 2010. However after further reflection we realized crowds are just picking up every month as of late. We do rope drop and utilize fastpass and honestly we never waited more than 20 minutes for anything. We were there over two weekends and those days were definitely more crowded than week days. The weather was awesome! Warm enough to swim but not hot or unbearable. We were in either shorts or jeans and t-shirts all week and were very comfy. Christmas decorations were up at MK. We saw the Osborne Lights at HS. I think the trees were up at all parks but I'm not positive. We were there a week after you are going though. I would definitely go at that time of the year again. :)

The second week of November, especially Tues. through Friday should be a great time to visit. Crowd level should be low to moderate at best. Weather is very comfortable. Weekends during this time frame are usually busy but manageable. Christmas decorations should be in the process of going up. A good time to visit.

We always go in early November as well, I've never found the crowds to be to bad. It does feel like there a ton of people in the parks but the ride wait times are never more than 20 minutes unless it's for the major attractions but, you just grab a fastpass for those. Hopefully we'll still have that system for this year because FP+ does not sound like a fun time.
I've also found that last minute dining reservations aren't hard to get either. We booked all ours last year in august and were still able to eat everywhere we wanted to including Ohana and Crystal Palace.

DITTO :thumbsup2

Don't expect *no* crowds, but go an enjoy!

We will be there 11/5 - 11/14 and are looking forward to it! We went the same time in 2011 - the weather was pleasant and the crowds weren't *too* bad. We avoid Epcot that weekend (since it will be the last weekend of F&WF), but that shouldn't really be an issue for you since you arrive on the 10th.

Christmas decorations will start appearing while you are there :)

It is a great time to go, in my opinion! :thumbsup2

We've gone the 11th-15th and the 13th-18th of Nov. One year was really warm with temps in the low 80's. The other year was temps in the low-mid 70's. Crowds were very manageable both times. Ride waits were short for the most part. Getting to the parks early worked best for us. We walked on to rides like EE and Space Mountain. MK was decorated, we saw the Osbourne Lights, and trees were up in DHS, EPCOT, and AK.
