2nd Try May 8-12 Day at Sea

DH and I made sure the kids had breakfast, and we were off to Palo's for brunch. Palo's is gorgeous! The view of the water from our table was breathtaking! Part of the brunch is buffet and part is ordered from a menu. They give you a tour of their buffet and menu offerings and leave you to help yourself from the buffet. Everything was wonderful, but please try the pizza and lemon pie.

I spent the rest of the day shopping, buying pictures at Shutters, paying out the bill, tipping our staff, and playing bingo. I was one number away from the final Jackpot $2400. Went to pin trading with the Officers and bought a pin signed by Captain Guus. Pin trading in general is not as exciting on DCL as it is at WDW. A few cast members wear lanyards and Pin Trading in the Atrium was just a book set out.

We sent the kids to Triton's for dinner and DH and I went to Palo's. Don't miss the calamari or the chocolate souffe. Try the rasberry champagne with the souffe!! So fantastic your eyes with roll back in your head!

Ran back to the room to meet the kids and get the suitcases packed for 11:00pm pick up. Family went to see "National Treasure" while I packed everything up. Just made pick up. Did not look forward to un-packing those suitcases. Made one more tour around the ship and enjoyed the peace of my favorite Deck 10, before calling it a night. Sad to think this would be the last night on this beautiful ship. With CC and Pirate Night this is a great, but exhausting day!

we went to the brunch at 11:00, we were the big group in the back you are right a beautiful view and the food was awesome.... I would do the brunch over again in a minute... Sorry I did not get to meet up with you guys... but what an AWESOME TRIP

Cindylou and Jen - we (me, gatorbait, another dis member and a gal I met at the Poly) went to the brunch at 11:00 too. I think I remember gatorbait saying it was your group because it was so large and I wanted to go up to you, but didn't get a chance b/c the time flew by. I really enjoyed my grownup time there and the food of course I too am sorry we all didn't hook up.

Julie--I think you were seated behind my husband in the booth. We were seated at the table by the window to your left. He has the long hair in a ponytail wearing a shirt that matched the vests of the Palo's servers. Agnes was our server. I have shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a blue patterned shirt and jeans.

Cyndi--I think I saw your group, too! There was a lady wearing pink that is in my buffet pictures that I believe was part of your group.

I really wish I had known we were having a DIS Meet at Palo's for brunch! Would have loved to have met everyone. Our ressies were at 10:30am.

Awww really. Well we were the first table on the left with 4 ladies sitting there and I too wish we had known because we could have at least met. It's funny how we ended up all being there for brunch too.
