Hello.

Taking my family (2 adults, 2 kids (10&8)) to WDW next week for four days. Staying on-site, so we are going to try and do a park in the morning, a long mid-afternoon break and go to a second park at around 4pm.

If we get to the first park at rope drop, might it make sense to use all three of our FP+ on our second park? Rope Drop means that we should get most rides in the first park at with low wait times, while our late re-entry means that lines will be crazy at 4pm.

Would love thoughts on this - makes sense to me, but I'm worried that I'm missing something.

Thanks!

This is the strategy we used a few weeks ago and it worked really well. The only time we did something different was when we spent am and pm in magic kingdom (still took mid-day break). Having our FP early in the day allowed us to get FP 4-6 over the course of the day.

Your approach makes a lot of sense, as long as you are not concerned with getting additional FPs after these 3. This is a sensible tactic that is mentioned as such in the FastPass thread (the green link in my signature below).
