2nd Dumbo = Aladdin?

Most all rides are the same; you go around in some form of a loop and get off and on in almost the same spot

You're abslutely right ha-ha! Now that I think of it, even the coasters, mountains, and tram rides do some sort of going around and then you get off at the same spot! That's hilarious to me! Did I really just pay 4grand for that vacation! Must be because of the mouse!:rotfl:

doesnt any one else think that having 3 of the same type of rides in the same park seem kinda pointless? I understand that dumbo is a very popular ride with kids but does having 3 of them make sense and yes i know magic carpets is not dumbo but its basically the same thing

Well if you think paying a couple grand every year to go back to the same place and ride the many of the same rides that have been there for nearly 40 years is pointless...then ya i guess it is.
if your like most of us enjoy going again and again and again to the same place, then riding 3 rides that are simular, won't both us in the least.

yes i know magic carpets is not dumbo but its basically the same thing

To my 4 year old they are NOT the same thing!!
She loves dumbo b/c you get to ride on dumbo, from the movie.

She loves carpet b/c she gets to ride carpet like aladdin did.

These ride are made for those younger childern that can not do those thrill rides... They see the world through differnt eyes...
She does not see a ride that just takes you around and around she see Dumbo and Carpet!

This isn't 1 ride becoming 2 rides - it's 1 ride having its capacity doubled. Given the waits for Dumbo, it's a good idea, especially given how they're going to make the queue an experience in and of itself.

Given the usual long wait for Dumbo, I think they should not only double the capacity but quadruple it.

The new ride will even have a new queue system that does not require guests to stand in a line in order to board and ride the attraction.
